I'm a Wolves fan thats been watching Kentucky games to get a feel for Rob Dillingham. Man, Antonio Reeves pops when watching full games. I'm guessing age is why he fell as far as he did but I don't know if it was smart for teams to pass him up. Dude is good.
honestly i cant agree more, scouts got this guy wrong. Reeves is sharp on defense, has a quick release and a killer floater. plus he has been playing hard as a supposed number 3/4 best player and getting serious buckets. great player, smart defender.
Was I the only one really hyped on and hoping we would get filipowski? I've watched alot of his clips and watched his stats. I thought he had potential to start for us. A good stretch 5 that also pass out of the post and pass off the pick n roll, plus he got more rebounds than Missi and same amount of blocks even though he ain't as athletic. Can anyone tell my why they didn't pick him?
Because they like project picks. They never learned. Isaiah Collier and Filipowski my pick that time. They rather pick "I hope he will be surprisingly good in the NBA" rather than pick a proven guy. Look Hayes now they got Dyson with only floater in his bag 😂😭🤷
@khryssvaldez7682 not getting filipowski disappointed me, I feel like he is going to develope into a stretch big getting points, reb, and asst playing decent def. Idk if he'll become a triple double center or not like jokic but I wouldn't be surprised to see his stat line looking all around like that, if given opportunity to play. I don't think Utah is very good sport for him though, probably won't stay there
23 year old Antonio Reeves (probably) isn't as immature as 19 year old Antonio Reeves; that's good. Way too much money has been wasted on 19 year old children.
Honestly at this point Pelicans need to trade BI. We have so little depth for PG/center and so much depth in the forward position that players like Hawk got hardly any run. We need to make room in the forward spot and get more depth in PG/center as a result

I think Reeves will be a SG maybe can play SF but I think if you trade BI and Trey starts then Matt Ryan could be a backup. The problem is you don’t have depth at PG, PF or Center
Very true, imo it’s mainly PG and center they need. If Z is healthy you don’t need many other players for that position and if anything Trey, Herb and LNJ (if he isn’t traded) can all play PF when Z isn’t. They definitely need to find more PGs tho and at least one more good center

We Did Ok in this draft adding a above average Center for defense and a solid guard to help Zion ..stop letting Zion handle the ball all the time he's no Magic Johnson
The Pels know that keeping BI is the smartest decision for the team. The Pels will re sign BI and he will still be the teams beat player. And the pels will continue to progress further into the playoffs
I did watch the playoffs. BI wasn't 💯 after being rushed back from an injury, and Zion missed the whole thing once again. In the playoffs with the suns, BI averaged in the 30+, and in the in season tournament BI was the leading scorer with Zion playing. Everyone has an opinion, but facts are facts. BI is clearly the team's best player.
Mark Sears withdrew from the draft and is returning to Alabama. He's a terrific player, but he only measured 5' 10 1/2" in socks at the combine. He apparently didn't get a first or high second round guarantee from anybody so he returned to college. Alabama is loaded, projected top 3 next season with Kansas and UConn.
