Holy smokes, it's Christmas! We started opening stuff around noon or so (I wake up late on Christmas, at least in the last few years), and I'd say everyone was quite happy with everything they received. I even got surprised!
After we opened all the gifts there was dinner (our two friends came over, but apparently weren't filmed), and then Left 4 Dead 2 some more. Later there was more dinner. I like Christmas.

I use the Velbon DV-7000. I've used a lot of tripods and you simply won't find another one that matches the value for the money. It's under $200 and performs just like the ultra-expensive ones.
I'm glad to know we're not the only ones who buy Christmas presents for our animals!

If you paid $25, I assure you, you did not get an amazing tripod. If it meets your needs, then great! Some folks like the smaller, lightweight tripods. The Velbon is going to be in a completely different class, as it's much heavier, sturdier, and has a fluid head.

I think this might be the only Christmas vlog TH-cam hasn’t recommended me, so this is brand new! So nice to see how supportive your parents have been of you from the very beginning. I cheesed so hard when your mom had you open the Ninten shirt!
@Camptain0 I've been doing videos since I was 15, so she's used to it at this point. She's incredibly supportive and loves the fact I'm now making TH-cam videos for a living, since she knows it's what I've always wanted to do.

Taking the journey for the first time, and Mal's book to Stephen killed me. My boyfriend and I have done the long distance thing, and even though it wasn't as big of a distance as Stephen and Mal, it was still so so hard. Y'all give me hope that he and I can do this. ♥

Very close! I'm 6'6'' and I've been that tall since I was about 16.
You guys have changed so much in the way you act. Mal not so much because she is still quiet and reserved. Kind of like me lol... but stephen is the outgoing and fun person. Kind of a joker back then. Now hes more "refined" in his lovable goofball personality! Its fun to watch these over again.

I have been thinking about getting another tripod for myself.. i'm 6' 3'' and working with these cheap ones are a real pain when it come to recording events. lol What kind of tripods did you get here? what are your preferences in a tripod?

That is quite True. I payed for a lightweight tripod in which I could make my silly movies. A 200 Tripod would probably perform better than mine :)
