Hi Kristine. Thanks for the positive feedback! 1. You can absolutely use a shared Google Doc. Just set the sharing to "Anyone on the internet with the link can view" 2. Double opt-in is recommended but not required. If you do require people to double opt-in, make sure you let them know in the message that they need to opt in to get the lead magnet.

One thing I didn't get from this video was how to ensure the people you share it with get a PDF. When I tested a document link it was in original Canva format so when I tested the link it loaded there instead of a PDF as in your example. Please clarify.
What if someone is already on the maillist? They want the checklist, so they sign up again? Does the tag get added to their existing record? or are they on the maillist twice now?
@GeeksOnTour, if someone is already on your list with the same email address, they will simply have the tag added and will still get the emails. However, if they are in your AWeber account on a different list, they will be added as a new subscriber on the list they sign up for. You're going to download the lead magnet as a PDF, so a user will not need a Canva account to access the file. You would email the downloaded PDF.

You don't need a custom domain name for your landing page but it certainly helps make your URL more shareable and professional looking.
