I really like your videos. they are better than most of the rest, at least for me. I have been bird hunting for 45 years and mostly hunt alone. It ceased to be about getting the "limit' and returned to a boy and his dog exploring new terrain each year. Washington use to have amazing upland hunting but it has long ago been privatized. I hunt Montana every year now around the CMR and APR for two weeks. Later I transition to Hell's Canyon for chukar and blues. This year the fire derailed my trip. I recognize some of the place featured in your videos and maybe I will run into you one of these days.

Great video. CiCi and Tubs are just amazing to watch and they work so well together. A couple times I noticed it looked like CiCi was limping, did she have an injured leg or foot?
Yes, she has a minor but nagging injury that comes back when she hunts hard.

Just noticed your sleeping arrangement. Have you considered a 'roof top tent' for the truck? Seems like it would have a lot more space.
I considered it, but for me sleeping in the cab is more comfortable and has many advantages for what I do.

Great dogs . How far ahead of you do you let your dogs hunt ?
As far as they want depending on cover and where the birds are. 75% of the time they are within 250 yards.
How do you like your Ethos? You sure shoot it well! And what choke & shot size do you like to run in that gun for sharpies?

@Eric Forrester if you get a chance, i would love to know the brand. It was the one that you were wearing at the end of the episode for the final comments. It was gray and blaze orange. By the way, love your vids! I live in MN and hunt pheasants, grouse, and woodcock here in MN and IA (i also lived in IA for many years) with my GSP. It is interesting how simillar to my gsp your gwps are trained. We have a very similar hunting style. I am focusing heavily on ruffed grouse this season, but I will be heading to the prairie with friends next season. I can't wait. Cheers!
That was actually a hat I had made at tone of those hat stores at the mall years ago. It’s just a Richardson hat. You can find them online pretty easy. 👍

I really enjoy bird hunting videos especially yours, but i noticed something i needed to comment about which is the way you killed the bird that was shot and still alive. I noticed that you twisted its neck around, she will stay alive but paralazed in this way, so i just want to recommend a better way for killing it that is slaughtering it but cutting the throat and the 2 veins around its neck to bleed out.

Love your videos. Why do you praise your females more and change your tone?
Most of my females respond stronger to praise than my males but that may just be coincidence.
Yet another video with a game violation. You are over limit on sharps and just ignore the law. FWP should watch your videos. You have been over before, had hens in your possession, and not left wings on for transportation. So many of your videos have violations in them. Do us a favor and obey the game laws. Please stay out of Montana. The state does not need people who violate game laws
