Ngl Gege absolutely fucked over megumi and I don’t even like bro. Bro lost his dad, his adoptive dad/mentor, his sister, half of his curse technique, got hit with 5 unlimited voids and body got absolutely abused. Like he was being hyped up so much throughout the series, I’m thinking we gonna see him reach his full potential but he absolutely got fucked.
@rashadavery7742 megumi reminds me of half the cast in naruto. Whole lot of potential but the author did an awful job of letting them cook. Gege let megumi use a couple domain expansions then he tried to summon mahoraga every 0.05 seconds until he finally did, got clapped, then got his body taken over only to then get mentally fucked and somehow came out of that not completely insane. If gege was gonna let the dude live there better be something in store for him (don't know what) otherwise there's no point in him even being alive
He wasn't hyped. His technique was. Gojo said that his clan member was killed by a 10 Shadow user. Never said that Megumi can reach a special grade or anything. The real wasted potential is Higuruma whom the narrator and Sukuna both said to be Gojo like potential.
@@azumag4432how so? She had a broken technique which would be bad for the story so she was kept out just like how Gojo was for most of the story. What's bad? That you wanted more? It doesn't make what you have bad.
@Youwood667 the only insane part is people giving this dogshit history credit when there is none from it. It was always mid and without the anime nobody would have read this mid ass manga 😂
Nah just watch how mfs gonna start glazing and calling it peak every week when thesr get animated. Like mfs were ranting about the culling games arc but people gonna start meat riding it once animated cause its got cool fights and good animation lol.
Yeah, Gege actually finishes his stories. Yu Yu Hakusho had a lackluster ending, and HxH has been on hiatus for my entire high school and college years lol.
It's been showing it's true colors since the culling game, I was ignoring it since I figured it was actually gonna go somewhere with all that build up, but it turns out I was mistaken for thinking JJK was any different from the other mid shows of the new generation. Welp I still haven't read chainsaw man, so I still have my fingers crossed that it's as good as everyone says it is. At this point it's my only hope for the new generation XD But like you said, it's just another anime to fall short of that one piece greatness!! It really makes me appreciate one piece that much more XD
12:50 No way bro compared gojo using a 200% hollow purple in the BEGINNING of the fight to sukuna jumping gojo for 2-4 chapters. Gojo used his own CT with buffs from utahime and the guitar guy, but you think its fair to have Sukuna using two different cursed techniques against gojo? Bro was fighting Shrine + 10 Shadows, but a win is a win Sukuna went down swinging.
KOL thinks he can give the series constructive criticism when he chose to speed read from Shibuya. Plus he kept fighting with his illiterate chat that misinformed him when all he had to do was his own proper research. JJK tubers exist for this very reason
There is no way you compared Gojo getting amped for one attack to Sukuna wielding 2 of the top 3 best cure techniques. In the words of Stephen A “Stay off the weed”.
I mean the only reason people brush it off is cause it didn't work lol. I don't mind the amp but u can't be saying its not cheating when Gojo had the driver guy do something to make Sukuna miscalculate. Like that is straight cheating. I don't really care about who the strongest is but mfs can't be blaming Sukuna for doing actual good prep work.
@@chrisharley5781 I mean you're definitely not wrong, but I always saw JJK as having more substance than what it turned out to have. Now it just feels like demon slayer or mha. Sure they look amazing (especially demon slayer), but the plot and overall narrative for those stories just kinda suck. And I expected more from JJK.
The nobara thing still kills me that people are pissed about that. The dude that did the painkiller CT on yuji flat out said her chances of survival werent 0. The stuff with megumi and yuji does not matter. Megumi didnt tell yuji nobara was dead. So her coming back (how it was handled with the whole she woke up 30 minutes prior was stupid honestly) shouldnt have been that big of a shock
Why are people ignoring all the other moments that gege implied that she's dead? - After Yuji meets Megumi for the first time post shibuya. - When Yuji said I don't want think of Hana as a replacement for kugisaki - Last one is when Yuji mentioned several dead people among them was nobara in 265. She was missing for 140 chapters (more than half of the story), and you expect people to like her as a character?
@@Jaafar_Alkhalifawhy do people ignore the fact that a character can be wrong?? Like, they don’t have all the info the reader has….and every example of a “hint” is literally Yuji being sad and thinking she’s dead Gege explicitly made the choice to not just have Megumi say “yeah, she’s gone” when they talk… Y’all got convinced by Yuji jumping to conclusions the same way we got convinced by Sukuna jumping to conclusions about Yuta eating the finger.
Can't believe y'all really comparing this to Bleach's ending. Sukuna losing the way he did was fitting and within reason. Yuha had like over a dozen different super hax abilities, one of those was the ability to observe all possible futures at once. And he lost because of a fucking arrow. I was around while Bleach was still weekly. It was way worse than jjk towards the end.
Look at it like this…Yuij’s domain was basically in its infancy stages, so the only thing he could have utilized from the domain was the stat boost of all physical abilities. Speed boost Atk boost Def boost Increased curse energy out put. All other domains like sukuna, gojo etc etc where basically higher level domains
@@lucasnebz4735 a domain is there, because he got the physical stat boost etc etc. but to pull off a flashy move or smtg drastic takes a lot of practice
@@Joshua_Cartus the purpose of the domain was stated literally a few panels before he cast it. It was about the sure-hit-effect. there is not "technique" or "effect" in his domain, he just learned how to form a domain in the first place. Its purpose was fulfilled when it assured a guaranteed hit of Yujis dismantle on sukuna when he landed that last black flash. that was literally it, maybe u think its lame but ya. ppl theorizing over what his domains effect is can theorize for a long time to come
Dropped JJK after Shibuya. Classic case of Americans over hyping because it had pew pew action. Killed so many characters, villians included and it felt so empty. What was the actual purpose of the Water, fire and earth curse anyway? Just disposable villians? The Geto reveal isn't well done because it was never foreshadowed, its just a thing that happens to further the plot. Then the climax is Skuna fighting some curse that was never introduced before and we're supposed to act like it means something. Terribly written arc and enough proof similar to MHA season 4 that the author couldn't write deaths correctly or know the purpose of his own villians narrativly. (Unless of course something was explained later, but it's too late to pull me back in now)
@PaulM68322 Wow, that's what happened with JJK? Sounds bad. MHA, sadly, did go really bad; though I will defend the war arc. The final arc;yeah it's garbage sadly. Overall, it's fallen to the victim of serialized storytelling where writers rush their works and in turn make lots of mistakes. It's why I prefer Manhwa or even books nowadays.
Guy, you dropped JJK from shibuya, so you wouldn't even know what's going on. JJK suffered from the hype, dont blame the manga for the incompetence of others. Villians and characters were going to die, whether empty of not it was going to happen. Death is a major theme in this series. The curses serviced their purpose they wanted to free sukuna and bring the age of curses. Mahito said himself that even if we died as long as sukuna is alive, the age of curses will come. This is just a case of not watching JJK0. Geto was killed there, and now we see a person who's geto, but he lacks the scar and has stitches. I was real in our faces. Idk about you. What curses are you talking about? You're waffling, cause if it's the merger, we have had kenjaku talk about this many times. You would know if you continued. The villians were great, and what they wanted was as clear as day. The arc only looks bad from someone who didn't go into it. Nanami, mai, and others were wonderful deaths. But keeping with the theme, not many would have good deaths. its the point. Your choice, just dont spread misinformation. I get dropping it, but it feels like not even getting it cause you had other ppl whisper in your ear and hype it up for you instead. In japan, it's popular for what it was.
@faith4657 There's always a Yank who pops out of the woodwork and says, "You just didn't understand it." Understand what? It's not some deep and complex narrative. Get over yourself, you're not some hyper intelligent human being like you want to believe you are for 'getting' JJK. It's funny that you say I was 'waffling' when your first three paragraphs are compelte waffle and don't rebute anything I said. Again, how is the Geto reveal supposed to be surprising when we never even learn about the guy who takes over his body before his death and Shibuya???? The Lava, Earth, and Sea curses where clearly themed around the forces of nature, suggesting they would play a key role in the story.... but just die having done next to nothing. Then the climax, you said nothing about it, so again, the Skuna fight against some curse that was never introduced before Shibuya, what is good about it? You can't just introduce something in the same arc, tell us it's strong, then have your villan beat it and act like it's good writing. The deaths in the arc are terrible because who really cares that they are dead. These characters barely even did anything to warrant a dramatic death. When you look at it realistically these characters die in season 2....... season 2........ the majority of season two is Shibuya, so when and where was I supposed to care about these characters and how do their deaths really actually effect the plot narrativly.... they don't. These characters weren't that important other than a mentor role and didn't have much build up.... not "great deaths" Hype or not, it's not good writing, you can't blame 'overhypers' for a poorly written plot and characters.
@PaulM68322 And there's always some mook who lacks basic reading comprehension skills and just pure critical thinking. It's why I said if you actually read and watched the series, you wouldn't be saying these things. You're not special for saying the most misinformed takes to think you're knowledgeable. I never claimed to be some hyper intellect you did, but at the same time, I know that not all these things are overly too complex for anyone to get. Your first 2 responses can be solved by just watching or reading the series, but clearly, you don't have enough patience for that. Geto was killed in JJK 0, we legit get the person saying he didn't want to be seen yet in S1. Do you have such bad memories that you never connected those 2 together. And seriously? The disaster curses did nothing? Guess sealing Gojo, the strongest sorcerer in the modern era, was nothing. Or bringing out sukuna, which cause the shibuya black hole. I have never seen anyone which such a bad take before, not only do they play a part in the story they are the ones actively driving it, until the end of the arc. What curses are you talking about? Is it mahoraga? Cause that "shikigami" has been talked about and hinted at so many times from gojo's convo with megumi to his hand signs. It's your own problem for not picking it up. Him losing was already a given, seeing as sukuna found out about its ability and ended it before it became a problem. Plus, we saw what it could do, so that point is already refuted. The only characters that were dramatic were nanami and nobara, nobara didn't die, and only nanami and naobito did. So what you say here is just a blatant lie and another misunderstanding of the series. The characters death was meaningful to me and the MC, which furthered the plot. The writing was good, and I said it's due to the hype which poisoned the well for jjk. Americans are always way in over their heads sometimes. The writing was solid. You just selectively lietened to what you wanted and discarded the rest. Lacking even the most basic of reading and writing skills. I didn't want to do this, but since you started this pretty heated, I met your energy. Note: Everything here is just the equivalent of "I didn't like it," which is fine, but you legit lied. Why didn't you actually talk about the real complaints, No, you had to bring up things that were already explained and try to paint it in a different light.
A lot of people say "but Gege DID set up Nobara returning", which is true, Gege did set up (clumsily, with lots of blind spots and vague, unexplained bs) Nobara returning... but sidelining one of your main characters for most of the story because it makes no sense having her around without using her skills on some of the big fights just to suddenly bring her back five minutes before the ending is just such poor storytelling. It's crazy to me that IT WAS set up, and it still feels like such an asspull.
Sukuna is a bit underwhelming, not even a Gojo fan. Just that all of JJK feels a lil under baked like it needed another 20 minutes in the oven. Theres been plenty of hype moments at the cost of every character in the series.
After nobara’s death in that arc NOBODY talked about her other than that one time with Yuji but really 100+ chapters and nobody talked about her or remembered her , and it was for this? I still don’t like how it happened the story is going to end and we saw her 10% of the time not very fitting of a “ main character “
Some people in this comment section can’t come to the conclusion, that their favourite Manga JJK, is now in the mud. No amount of cope can fix what’s happened.
Lol, how? Just because some people on reddit and TH-cam say so? Series sales are still popping off, and while it's not the greatest conclusion, not even some of the OGs predecessors had any good endings either. Bleach: Mid Yuyu Hakusho: Mid Naruto: Decent These had longer run times than JJK, which is Gege's first manga series. It's not perfect, but it had a solid run. Success speaks for itself, and you don't speak for everyone else 😂
Kugisaki's comeback was terrible for many reasons. Gege did set up the chance of bringing her back with the panel Kol mentioned, but he brought up the topic of nobara 3 more times and were all hinting about her being dead! That's just terrible.
Remember when Yuji told sukuna he could end him whenever he wanted in his domain... lmao just another example of just not even knowing himself wth is going on next in his own manga when nobara had to SAVE yuji's ass
Nitta says to Yuji in Shibuya that it's not a zero percent chance that she'll live. That alone told us that she was gonna make it. People just convinced themselves that she was dead cuz they misinterpreted what Gege said about her at an event a few months ago.
@@murphydaquan he also made it a point to mention after that several times that she was dead. Fact is he was inconsistent with way too much and shes definitely one of them. What happened to Yuji being able to kill sukuna without nobara
@@s3eriousbl9ck26Yujis the only one who ever says she’s dead….and it’s made painfully clear he never sees the body to confirm He asks Megumi, who gives him a “…” and Yuji assumes from them on she’s dead *let’s not forget all the times it’s explicitly stated they’re hiding stuff from Yuji just in case he’s still linked to Sukuna*
It's been setup for failure since 147 imo. Yaga's death. Definitely had great moments and a long stretch of good chapters past 147. But that was the moment I knew this story would suck. Chapter 150, 208, 211, 222, 238, 248.Those chapters made it worse. After that, I just didn't care about the story. Terrible payoffs, wasted potential, stupidly ignoring character moments that give the story its flavour. Absolute letdown.
After yaga s death is just peak: Higuaruma vs yuji Megumi vs regie Yuta all out Maki vs naoya ..... Gojo vs sukuna Yuji and yuta vs sukuna ... Be serious
@@dertanlee6510 The fights were nice and Maki's character development was great. I already said it had good moments. But there were a lot of problems that ruined my experience reading it, especially the chapters I mentioned.
When you think about it, sukuna was always depicted as some eyes and a mouth since the beginning of the manga when he would talk through yujis cheek so I don’t mind him looking like that at the end but I do wish yuji didn’t try to save him
Manga should have told us itadori was this kind of character more so or something idk why so many people think yuji should not want to accept Sukuna given the way he's been depicted in the Sukuna fight lol. I blame gege
I agree with the yuji saving him me not liking but the idea of sukuna hating living in yuji being happy being a worse fate than death for him is pretty funny to me
Of course it is a mess. People that aren't delusional and not embarrasing hardcore fans know that. It's been like this since the Gojo fight if not sooner. It sucks a lot because I liked JJK, too but man, it went from an 8/10 to a 4/10 for me.
I been saying that the series started feeling weirdly rushed once Gojo was released and they time skipped immediately to the Sukuna v. Gojo fight. Ever since then the story has been a mess
@@rainofkhandaq6678 I’m not even upset about Gojo losing though? All I said was since he was released the pacing has been off. I personally ended up liking how Gojo died, it was a cool twist and could’ve led to really interesting stuff with the rest of the cast. But with how poorly the story progressed after that, it leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
I don’t mind the ending I felt it needed a little more Like Nobara just came back, and they having that whole megumi dialogue Idk maybe just one or two more chapters then close it all up imo. Idk I’m still on the blind cope that we’re getting a sequel series
Nope, weebs are just getting dumber, brainrot is real. The fight was fine and was probably the craziest raid boss flight I've ever seen in manga. People REALLY thought Gojo would beat Sukuna LMAO! And that Nobara was dead. Like why TF do you think they kept a finger behind!?
I can only speak of the final arc, but it seems that the final arc wasn't thought out or structured well, based on what I read. It focuses more on shock value than writing quality; or spectacle > substance.
@tonydiamond7663 It’s sadly the same thing I’ve seen with almost every Shonen battle series with their final arcs. In one hand, I get it with mangaka being run ragged with the serialization process. Just look at Kishimoto, Horikoshi and many of the popular Shonen battle series whose final arcs weren’t well received. I haven’t read JJK since Shibuya so I don’t know what has happened. But it seems like Akutami is facing similar problems. It’s why I am not that into many Jump series anymore from the main magazine. Stuff like Kaiju No 8 and Dandadan. For non battle series, Akane no bashi which is a hidden gem. And plenty of Manhwa and books.
These last few chapters have smacked the rose tinted glasses off the faces of many, if not most fans. They're now looking back at the series, and seeing all the failings and missed opportunities in the writing. For anime fans, I think this next season will be beginning of the end of the hype train. It's like how Demon Slayer isn't really talked about a lot anymore, because good animation can only do so much with mediocre writing.
@Cameron-qe7il to be fair most ppl don't have alot of friends who keep up currently on Mangas. Anime has gotten alot popular in the world but not that popular lol . Most opinions manga fans hear is going to be from online as opposed in real life
The vast majority of the anime fans are going to love season 3. Only people who won't are the vocal minority of nerds. Just like with AOT all the manga nerds hated on the ending but when the anime came out, a majority of the anime onlies loved it.
I honestly wish jjk was just keep from main stream media. I feel sorry for the next big manga. Because I already know everybody will love it at first then it’ll be the cool thing to hate 24/7
Yeah, people are hating for it not showing everything in existence like Naruto and it's billion fillers. JJK was always just about cool fights and that's exactly what we got.
Lol. I basically stopped investing into JJK during the Sendai Colony. Red flags were all over the place. Now I just read spoilers and skim stuff until its done. Its gotten really bad. Conclusion: if youre an adult, its best to stray away from Shonen Jump and read Seinen or more mature Shonen. That actually have consistent good writing.
@CrystronHalq I still believe there's good Shonen battle series, like Kaiju No.8 and Dandadan but those are on Jump+. For me, I've shifted to Manhwa and other series outside of Jump. I will always appreciate series like Naruto, Bleach and One Piece. But I recognize that those series had their flaws. Heck, my love of Naruto ironically came back from a rewrite made by DygoKnight. I highly recommend it. The guy did a fantastic job adding new story arcs and fixing a lot of problems with the original series. Or the Cradle books by Will Wight. I highly recommend their audiobooks. Take Last Airbender and mix it with Hunter X Hunter in terms of magic systems and the former with world-building. It's 100% worth it and in fact the author is trying to get an animated series produced which I fully support.
what ruined it for me is that Yuji lost his fingers, what is up with these manga and video games that keep taking away people fingers at the end, must be a secret group or something, and he cant even heal it. They brought back Gojo body with stitches on his head, nobody in this series don't know anything about a perfect healing skill? he look weird now. The final battle between Yuji and Sukuna was so short that it felt rush, Should of let Yuji won by himself first and than let Yuji friends help to save his soul To be honest the moment I realize Gojo couldn't come back to life again is when I already knew that this Author gonna be making up anything. The story just gotten way to fake for me.
At least for me, I’m not mad she’s alive. At all. I’m not even mad with how she came back. I’m really just pissed that she was “killed off” for what feels like 90% of the story The little flashback she had during Shibuya wasn’t enough imo
Yeah I have no issue with her being alive. I just hate how the entire situation was handled. She “dies” and her fate is left ambiguous for the rest of the series and only now comes back? She lost so much time to develop and become a better character.
“people were mad it’s raining and now people are mad it’s not” could technically be used to describe people experiencing a hurricane and then a drought but it doesn’t communicate the problem. I think it’s more accurate to say “people were mad nobaras character was being mishandled and they are still mad because that never changed”
Nobara was kept out of the series just to come back as a plot device when we could’ve had a whole series featuring her greatness. I don’t blame fans for being mad.
I understand why people are mad that she was dead for majority of the story but personally I don't even think it's that big of a deal. Doubt she would have survived the culling games anyway. That's why Maki took her place for a bit.
You said yourself you think the peak of final battle was at Gojo vs Sukuna. It wasn't necessarily about just Gojo dying or how Sukuna used Mahoraga, but how things became a bit more messy after that and some aspects of execution from Gojo’s death. People also had criticism for Yuki's death as well for Kenjaku so it was seen before. Just on a bigger scale of potential scrutiny with a bigger character. Gojo dying was fine, though I think aspects of execution could have been better for it. Sukuna battle after that seems more cycle with how something seemed hyped up for a cliffhanger (ex: Jacob's ladder) then later revealed to be very anticlimactic with little to no effect, so I think that aspect of Sukuna gauntlet started to feel too repetitive for some people overtime. I think it will be improved with the anime, but doesn't fix certain writing issues.
People are getting mad over what they didn't get to see which is unfair. By that logic, people should be mad that we never saw much from Yuji's dad who is Sukuna's twin. Extra details are nice but not necessary unless they are story breaking. We want to see MORE of characters, but that doesn't make what we already have bad.
I agree but the black zetsu was because Madara was too strong Kishimotot couldnt figure out how to beat him also Sukuna is my favorite character in JJK
I don't think anyone is in the wrong for simply enjoying the outcome so far. But it's undeniably a confusing, polarizing way to structure a narrative. Gee
Though i agree that there was nothing wrong w sukuna using mahoraga in his fight, don't compare it to gojo getting help once, its not even close to the amount of work mahoraga put in
If like chainsaw man this is the end of a part 1 and we get a part 2 or sequel series I wouldn't mind this ending as much but even if that was the case boy does this ending leave much to be desired
KOL, while I do think you genuinely believe what you say, I need to say that what you believe is absolute baloney. Let's discuss the problem of Gojo vs. Sukuna. The fight was anticipated by many fans. The iteration of this fight was so underwhelming that it's actually crazy. Everyone knew deep down gojo was going to lose. But the fight itself is a couple of chapters of hand to hand then domain expansion spams. But when the fight started getting good with the creativity starting to show. Boom, gojo gets one shot. The fight could have been a prime demonstration of what jujutsu could be, but we got what we got. And what for? For sukuna to transform into a new form and fight bunch of guys in a repeating cycle of character gets a hype intro one chapter fight then gets no diffed by sukuna. FOR MONTHS. Oh, what about the master mind? THE guy with it all planned. The guy that outsmarted Gojo. Gets a gag fight then gets bush camped. I can not comment about the quality of the takaba fight itself cause, honestly, I didn't understand most of the references and jokes. But I can say that the culmination again isn't only lacklustre it's actually insulting. How about all the side characters with new unorthodox jujutsu techniques? Kaido went through a much more impressive gauntlet, but he never felt unfair or broken. Sukuna, on the other hand, week after week, drove me personally into a state of panic. Gege wrote himself into a corner that he never had a chance of escaping. How can I in good conscience say that sukuna was a good, let alone a great villain when his conclusion feels not earned but given. Unfortunately, KOL, I can not say jjk lived up to its potential.
What are you talking about? What was wrong with the sukuna and gojo fight? And that's a lie ppl didn't know gojo was going to lose, they excepted a win especially since gojo was running sukuna ragged. The intro to the raid wasn't even bad, everyone all played a part in trying to weaken him so as to get him to the lvl he was, he fought back and ik its not for everyone. So idk what lost potential it didn't get. Sukuna was an amazing villian for what he did.
@@faith4657I respect your opinion and what I will say next in no way is a snide towards you or your preferences. But let's start from what was wrong with gojo vs sukuna. As I said the content of the fight in manga form was a letdown. I know when they animate it it's going to be better but I am talking about the manga. For 12 chapters straight, that's 3 months if u were reading week to week, that's how long the fight was. And for me, considering that the characters fighting were the pinnacle of jujutsu that stood so much higher than everyone else, they didn't expand on the power system at all. If u look at the bare bones of the fight I didn't see any creativity from sukuna. The guy who showed us a barrierless domain, the being that contradicts modern jujutsu, was relying on a technique he acquired not so long ago? The fight we waited so long for didn't even happen technically if I'm being honest. And about knowing that gojo will lose. While gojo got a lot of gas his loss was inevitable for 1 reason. Sukuna was no longer inside yuji *pause*, that meant automatically sukuna will lose to yuji and no one else. And my problem isn't gojo losing. My problem is the way he lost. That chapter came after a week break and I remember how betrayed I felt, how unearned that victory was. The Sukuna gauntlet fight felt repetitive and kept going much longer than it ever should have. Yuji's growth spurt was unnatural and forced. And for me personally the villain that's evil for the sake of being evil is hard to pull off. There are still a couple of chapters left to show more. But I'm not angry just disappointed. Maybe I am at fault for having unrealistic expectations for this series.
This comment is a bunch of BS. The fight had great choreography, great demonstration of Domain Battles, great set pieces, surprising plot twists, and a logical conclusion. They even broke the rules of Sorcery and shown us cool moments that wouldn't be possible with other characters. Fans like you are never satisfied, and y'all would complain regardless.
@Kaen609 🤔, I understand your point. Guess the story was always heading in the route. Sukuna at least showed his understanding of being able to copy other techniques with one look. Gojo def was going to die, but I don't have that many problems against it cause we already saw the technique that would do him in. And as for yuji's growth. The man, even with the training, still wasn't on sukuna's lvl, they just couldn't be one shot by him. They started training from when gojo was unsealed, so I don't understand the way you feel here. Maybe I will. The raid wasn't all the best, hoping the anime fixes it. What expectations did you have? Cause each person wanted something but forgot that gege was going to write it his own style it was a matter of perspective and understanding what he did.
Most people AREN'T hating on the end. Its mostly positive. Again, we won't get to see some stuff but I would consider a missing to be better than a failure like AOT ending where they tried to show everything and fucked everything up.
There seems to be an overwhelmingly reoccurring event with Japanese manga, where creators are incapable of ending their stories either properly or creatively. This begs the question, is Shonen Jump even a place for quality manga anymore? Or is the blame in mangakas incompetence? I don’t think there is any product of Shonen Jump that gave me a good ending other than PERHAPS DBZ. Even then, GT ending was better.
@@WRDendbut most of them do. Sometimes their schedules, or even when they get sick fumbles on how they execute it. This is super common amongst mangaka. Unless yall can prove them wrong? Only few series have accomplished this
Do we really need Hakari vs Uraume? It's literally the simplest fight. It would be cool sure. But it's literally just Hakari hitting jackpot and beating Uraume until she gives up and Uraume keeping hakari at bay because he has no long range attacks. We see in the end that Uraune had a cut on her neck meaning Hakari sliced her head but she head it together using her frost to keep fighting. It was literally an endurance battle to see who gives up first. Nothing more complex than that.
Characters in JJK are their techniques themselves. So the potential of Megumi was seen through Sukuna's utilisation of his technique. Dude was the strongest 10 Shadows user EVER. So what else do you want? For Megumi to become a subpar 10 Shadow user? Because he'll never match up to Yuji or Sukuna or Gojo or Yuta or even Hakari.
Also, asking for full potential Megumi is pointless. He can't even tame Mahoraga and everything else that he would be able to do would pale in comparison to everything Sukuna did with 10 shadows. Megumi also doesn't have the enormous amount of CE like Sukuna. He would have been a high grade 1 just shy of special grade and likely still weaker than Hakari.
My only gripes is that we didnt see Hakari vs Uraume even if it s just a little bit. I have zero problems with Nobara coming back. Maybe a bit earlier would have been fine but i dont hate it like others who are just baby raging about it. Still love the series, cant wait to see how it ends
@@GothamThotSlayer You have no problem with Nobara coming back even though it makes Mahito incompetent because he couldn't even manage to kill a random teenage girl. Also, soul damage is a thing that gets undermined, so it didn't matter when she died; she will come back as a plot device because she has abilities just like Hana and Toge.
Nobara could have received more, sure but what she git isn't anything bad. I'm in a much more preferably to me to NOT have a female character over having bad female characters. If he knew that he can't write female too well, not doing them is perfectly acceptable. Its like deducting points for not having black/Indian etc character instead of having them but done horribly.
I’ve never seen such a knock of villain in kenjaku. Dude planned everything for Sukuna to just fight the gang 😂. And Megumi is one of the worst secondary characters in manga
Sukuna dying the way he did was poetic because he died worthless and anticlimactically the same way he did so many innocent people in his lifetime. If people can’t appreciate how impactful that type of death is to a character like Sukuna, then you have completely ignored how he has been written the entire story. This was a perfect way for him to die.
That's true, but the average shonen fan is to low iq and brainroted to actually care about Poetic deaths, they just want to cool explosions, I don't think the average person who is bitching now actually reads the Text of JJK.

I think Yuji's domain won't get an explanation. Based off what we see, it's a simple domain expansion where he embued his soul splitting dismantle as the sure hit, which is why as soon as sukuna gets hit with resonance, he gets hit with a dismantle. The fact that his domain is a world inside reminds me of how other people like jogo made their domains into enviornments to fit them. Yuji's whole thing is the soul and memories and so it seems like his domain is full of his memories and places close to him. He also probably did that on a whim to try to win over sukuna
i dont think nobara coming back was hype because i wanted more of her than a little fight against the strongest villain. maybe a domain or new tech or new character developement would have changed my opinion.
Wasn't feeling Culling games from the start. Dropped the manga after that. Maybe it was because Shibuya was so good that Culling games seemed pretty mediocre in comparison.

@IIYamiSanII maki didn't replace anybody BUT she would be a solid replacement for kugisaki because maki is a overall better, stronger, more interesting female character
It's really dumb how manga fans will judge a story due to a characters "loss of potential"* bc they die or something. How does that hold any merit at all? So if a character gets killed off without somehow becoming a god it's just bad? Megumi had huge growth as a character which is how he ultimately broke free. Wake up guys.
No he did not. Megumi went from having an insane mental issue to it being solved after Itadori speaking 2 lines to him. We have no idea how he got to where he was mentally in the last chapter. His entire growth arc was just halted and he came out the same mf. Nothing about his sister, nothing about Gojo, nothing about all the people that were killed. Terrible.

You're not American?
@faith4657 There's always a Yank who pops out of the woodwork and says, "You just didn't understand it."
Understand what?
When you look at it realistically these characters die in season 2....... season 2........ the majority of season two is Shibuya, so when and where was I supposed to care about these characters and how do their deaths really actually effect the plot narrativly.... they don't. These characters weren't that important other than a mentor role and didn't have much build up.... not "great deaths"
Hype or not, it's not good writing, you can't blame 'overhypers' for a poorly written plot and characters.

Am I the only one who liked the ending of the sukuna fight?
Probably
I don’t mind the ending
I felt it needed a little more
Like Nobara just came back, and they having that whole megumi dialogue
Idk maybe just one or two more chapters then close it all up imo.
Idk I’m still on the blind cope that we’re getting a sequel series
Man everybody thinks they can cook up a chapter like they got a clue
Nope, weebs are just getting dumber, brainrot is real.
The fight was fine and was probably the craziest raid boss flight I've ever seen in manga.
People REALLY thought Gojo would beat Sukuna LMAO! And that Nobara was dead. Like why TF do you think they kept a finger behind!?
I like it I honestly find nothing wrong with the ending
The Ultimate Murder Gege as ever done was the fandom itself diabolical work
Gojo is HIM, Sukuna is Him. At the end of the day both 🐐's greatness far from the rest. Only those two could truly give each other a challenge.
Plus Gege didnt want to write 1800 jackpots again😂😂😂
I dropped the series after Gojo died ngl.
JJK went out with a whimper
These last few chapters have smacked the rose tinted glasses off the faces of many, if not most fans. They're now looking back at the series, and seeing all the failings and missed opportunities in the writing.
For anime fans, I think this next season will be beginning of the end of the hype train. It's like how Demon Slayer isn't really talked about a lot anymore, because good animation can only do so much with mediocre writing.
Except that's hilariously untrue. The vast majority of people that read JJK still love it. Get off of Twitter and talk to real people.
@@Cameron-qe7ilexactly lmfao
People STILL talk abt Demon Slayer. The movie made twice as much as JJK movie 0😂
Facts the shift in dynamic is astounding.
Yeah, people are hating for it not showing everything in existence like Naruto and it's billion fillers. JJK was always just about cool fights and that's exactly what we got.
Jjk got the bleach ending treatment 😂😂😂
The final battle between Yuji and Sukuna was so short that it felt rush, Should of let Yuji won by himself first and than let Yuji friends help to save his soul
To be honest the moment I realize Gojo couldn't come back to life again is when I already knew that this Author gonna be making up anything. The story just gotten way to fake for me.
Ppl were mad Nobora was dead now mad she is alive
At least for me, I’m not mad she’s alive. At all. I’m not even mad with how she came back. I’m really just pissed that she was “killed off” for what feels like 90% of the story
The little flashback she had during Shibuya wasn’t enough imo
I don’t think this show was ever good
The only reason Gojo died was for yuji to kill sukuna, realistically plot armor is a b*tch
Aizen put in work. Kenny was playing water polo and going for a drive for his final fight 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
You really think Kenny didn't put in work?
People are getting mad over what they didn't get to see which is unfair. By that logic, people should be mad that we never saw much from Yuji's dad who is Sukuna's twin. Extra details are nice but not necessary unless they are story breaking. We want to see MORE of characters, but that doesn't make what we already have bad.
I agree but the black zetsu was because Madara was too strong Kishimotot couldnt figure out how to beat him also Sukuna is my favorite character in JJK
madara is better
I don't think anyone is in the wrong for simply enjoying the outcome so far. But it's undeniably a confusing, polarizing way to structure a narrative. Gee
Though i agree that there was nothing wrong w sukuna using mahoraga in his fight, don't compare it to gojo getting help once, its not even close to the amount of work mahoraga put in
If like chainsaw man this is the end of a part 1 and we get a part 2 or sequel series I wouldn't mind this ending as much but even if that was the case boy does this ending leave much to be desired
Yujis domain is Shrine. The train station with sukuna wasnt his DE.
Kenjakus death ruined the series for me. Such a dogshit way to go out
@@faith4657I respect your opinion and what I will say next in no way is a snide towards you or your preferences.
This is a bigger punch to the nads than h x H hiatus coupled with benching Gon in the story.
They start writing without the full-story fleshed.
It's best if a writer knows the ending before the 1st chapter is even released.
If Megumi keeps the things his body learned from Sukuna being inside him that’s a potentially insane buff
Never cared about this Naruto wannabe
Its clearly has it fans and its alright
But its always sad, if manga become straight up washed.
Idgaf just another dissatisfying death just like every death in the series.
This is just cope
no. cope harder rtd. sukuna had even more of a trash death than acnologia lmao
That's true, but the average shonen fan is to low iq and brainroted to actually care about Poetic deaths, they just want to cool explosions, I don't think the average person who is bitching now actually reads the Text of JJK.
@@ember-evergarden woah there buddy let's be rational here, achnologia unironically died to a literal friendship. This dude is talking out of his asshole, but that was too far man XD

Of course Kaido was cool, but...still. you know what i mean
Why is Gege ending JJK manga so quickly
Someone please

Editor no. 3: Sensei, your payment along with royalties.
Gege: ....... I'm happy and I don't need to do anything else enymore. Unless the situation requires me to cook.
When the plot engineers Yuki for every major fight. It sucks. Yuki is engineered to win against mahito. Then his curse technique and blows are all fatal to sukuna. Terrible.
See I am a huge gojo fan and my beef was never with him getting three v one’d! My beef was how he got off screened for a character of his stature! He had to die to make the story interesting and to show how great of a villain sukuna is!
Just wait until the anime comes around to animate the rest of this.
Everyone will be like "OMG JJK IS PEAK!"
I'm so sick of the whining and complaining in fandoms.

Like, now they just feel like wasted chracaters even more. But people are somehow ok with it.
“Im sick of whining and complaining” dude Im sick of all these shonen stories rushing to a conclusion this is a common issue why would we just sit here and accept it
With Jjk ending talk about Kagurabachi it’s amazing
I think Yuji's domain won't get an explanation. Based off what we see, it's a simple domain expansion where he embued his soul splitting dismantle as the sure hit, which is why as soon as sukuna gets hit with resonance, he gets hit with a dismantle. The fact that his domain is a world inside reminds me of how other people like jogo made their domains into enviornments to fit them. Yuji's whole thing is the soul and memories and so it seems like his domain is full of his memories and places close to him. He also probably did that on a whim to try to win over sukuna
Where's the chainsawman manga content? Editor!!?
i dont think nobara coming back was hype because i wanted more of her than a little fight against the strongest villain. maybe a domain or new tech or new character developement would have changed my opinion.
Wasn't feeling Culling games from the start. Dropped the manga after that. Maybe it was because Shibuya was so good that Culling games seemed pretty mediocre in comparison.
what are u talking about? Megumi can now do everything we saw that Sukuna do with his CT.....
u know after Sukuna use Fuega on Yuji and Choso what if it really killed them and what were seeing now is the same type of thing that Jogo saw after Sukuna roasted him and went into that spirit plane place
The last few chapters are just just the pit of mediocrity, I won't act like it's a complete betrayal of the story, but I just don't care very much, Gege's writing just isn't doing it.
Also Sukuna was just a soul after Yuji cut him out of Megumi. Gege talked a lot about souls and bodies in the story. He maintained his posture just while dissipating
He needed the 10 shadows to win. Sukuna wouldve lost.
Keep telling yourself that bud

My issues are, yuta taking over satoru’s body and yuji opening a domain for a black flash
i just simply didnt get any of what i wanted... there was no final big ckash. l always said nobara comes back but i didnt think it was this late without any developement in her power or character. megumis full domain also never happened. sukuna just like mahito was not suffering long enough. and we didnt go into his past at all. kenjaku also was just thrown away like nothing.
A random one time mention 150 chapters ago where they said they don’t know doesn’t mean good foreshadowing, and megumi should be brain dead in a coma
I was saying it to anyone who would listen. After the main fight of this arc IYKYK I immediately said it was going downhill from there. The whole series is high-mid at best. Probably a 6.7 at best. Good but not great. Not worth all the hype.
Useless Miwa living up to her name until the very end. 😀
She at least saved Maki in Sukuna's domain
If the female MC is constant in a series, what about chainsaw man? Didn't everyone get deleted there?
Maki is actually a solid temp replacement for kugisaki.
How is she replacing someone she preceded? If anything Nobara replaced Maki(then disappeared for the entire series)
It's just bad.
@IIYamiSanII maki didn't replace anybody BUT she would be a solid replacement for kugisaki because maki is a overall better, stronger, more interesting female character
@@YungRoronoa_YT Maki was the first. Along with Yuta.

First I've heard someone pronounce Gege like geegee lol
It's really dumb how manga fans will judge a story due to a characters "loss of potential"* bc they die or something. How does that hold any merit at all? So if a character gets killed off without somehow becoming a god it's just bad? Megumi had huge growth as a character which is how he ultimately broke free. Wake up guys.
I don't understand people who measure their enjoyment of a story based on powerscaling the characters. Who cares if Megumi is Mr. Potential Man?
No he did not. Megumi went from having an insane mental issue to it being solved after Itadori speaking 2 lines to him. We have no idea how he got to where he was mentally in the last chapter. His entire growth arc was just halted and he came out the same mf. Nothing about his sister, nothing about Gojo, nothing about all the people that were killed. Terrible.
@@addollz6192 I think it makes sense to say he was witnessing all the events inside sukuna including that talk with Yuji. Its not much of a stretch to say he learned a lesson. But that's even what's in debate here Kol is mad bc he didn't get to flex his potential power. Not bc he felt better.
