This songs lyrics really fucking punched me. I’m not sure what they are about, but I interpret it like being so concerned with being with the times and having the right opinion that you’ve isolated yourself from everyone. Like you’re better than the next man just because you’ve got better opinions. And man that message slams me. I’m a songwriter and I wish I had thought of those lyrics. And that YOUR BODY AND MIND part comes out of nowhere in some bohemian fashion. This punishes the worst parts of myself and rewards the best parts of me for noticing that the bad is there.
