My own daughter is a gymnast (nowhere near this level I should point out) so I get the elements needed to do this kind of skill. And from what I can see the only thing that cost them a 1st place was a minor wobble. Yeah that's skill, hard training, strength, determination, co-ordination and trust. Furthermore I would even go so far as to say anyone who can't see that might themselves be high.

Ngl, I’ve watched these type of cheerleading videos for years and every time I grow more and more confused and amazed at what’s happening. Like, just the timing and synchronization of it all and how the hell can a guy hold one person’s entire weight on one arm. It’s so freaking cool.

It's like looking at a magnificent building. Everyone oos and ahhs at the building, forgetting about the very foundation that holds it up.

The guys doing the heavy lifting and controlling the balance, timing and coordination- that's the hard part. There are likely a few dozen girls of this level in every college town, but only a few precision dudes strong enough that can do this without getting someone injured or maimed. It's a tough and unforgiving job. Basically most of these girls are doing nothing new or overly impressive.
As a former two-time CIF Champion, a UCA NHSCC Champion and UCA & UDA College National Champion, who understands the skill and dedication this requires, I can honestly say this was very impressive. Top-notch all the way, much respect to all three of you, really great job.
