well it's not the roof itself that hits the head, it's the lowering of the roof around to accommodate the extra stuff, got the same problem and wonder if i should do it on ,my own

Glad to see good compression. They're better than when I first bought the car. I took care of the car as best I could. I personally did synthetic oil every 4 months. Ran premium fuel ever since I upgraded the cam.
would be nice if 1 engine received a stroker kit, because every volvo guy should feel the need for a 3L redblock xD maybe not sell goldie but let her live on as the grand gold nugget in the collection ;)

This compression test shows how tough these engines are and what they are capable of with a little bit of maintenance, btw i love the fact that you started writing the "subscribe for" at the end of the video again

Your 89 should be a LH 2.4 car. After 88B volvos got some upgrades, they got like better rust prevention and lh 2.4 and more

The turbos were lh2.2 untill 1989 . NA cars were lh2.4 in 1989 but then 1990 the turbos went lh2.4 and the na cars were mostly rex regina

88b's got better rust protection? Which parts of the body were improved?
I've had an 86 240 that was shite and rusted like garbage and had an 87 740 and 88 240 that both seem very well rust treated so just assumed the really good rust prevention started in 87 (my 88 240 was supposed to be a sacrificial "anode", she's probably never seen a garage and stood up incredibly, nothing like the rotten 86). Like to know more about any Model year rust prevention knowledge, particularly in regards to 740's (seems hit and miss, I've got an 87 wreck that's rusted in the C-PILLAR's yet an 86 that lived near the beach that's still perfect).

Please don't, every single 740 ever in sweden rolls around on the same fucking MK18 wheels, it's the ugg boots of wheels. Even stock dracos or virgos would be more unique than MK18.

The Traktor is no more. I bought it off him and drove it for a few months and parted it out after it ended up with super low compression. The axle and wheels are in Josh's 940 wagon now.
