    All 3 are good, Tim's "street" view probably is the clearest, but my choice is "in the cab" where we can here you talking.
    It was also cool to get multiple angles of your BOO-BOO hitting the roof :)
    What separates you from other similar video creators is your narration and commentary. (More is better)
    I too run equipment and find watching you kinda therapeutic.Fancy cameras and drones anyone can use, but your videos are made entertaining by you being yourself, not acting. Stick to your guns and make videos the way you want. And keep up the "talking", nothing worse than crappy music covering up the machine sounds and crunching of wood.

      Agreed. The commentary is part of what keeps me coming back to watch the videos! I did have a chuckle at the "oops" a very short time after the comment on keeping it tidy. Keep doing what you do!

      All vids are good, but the in cab has your commets and the vid wouldn't be the same without them.Keep going as you have done and like MrDugbo171 sayd., no crappy musik to cover any machine sound.
      If we would like to hear musik we would go to some one else chanel :-)

    couple of things about these old houses....if the electric is still on, cut the clip and pull (literally) the meter out of it's spot....only the incoming lines will still be hot. Also, when it is as old as this, no matter if it has been extensively remodeled and sheetrocked, there will still be buried old lath and plaster....and it almost always has asbestos in the plaster. (made it smoother, don't ya know...or whatever) Speaking of the white devil dust, probably any furnace, hot water heater vent etc. will contribute to your late stage cough....I did notice the fireplace had no liner, which is really fun when cracks or joints in the brick open up. (that is how my aunt's house burned down) Isn't construction fun?

  • @Mercmad
    @Mercmad 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    One thing about this project, you do not have to take care of any asbestos .Here in Australia nearly every old building is full of the deadly crap .I had a new roof put on my Workshop after a hail storm destroyed the asbestos roofing >it took two years (!! ) for the insurance company to accept the quotes to remove all of the asbestos roofing .

    It would appear that the local Electrical Company works on their selective schedule, which is, we will get to the problem or the clients request when and if we decide to.
    Tim's camera view is much better to watch, inasmuch as it shows a wider field of view, but the excavator in-cab camera gives a more closeup detailed view, so together with the excavator's roof camera, they all serve to make a very interesting video.

    I love your videos, I have never tried to run any large equipment, I am amazed at how fierce they can be an how gentle they can be. I have a question about the power (force) of that bucket when you are pushing or pulling material, also that thumb it crunches wood like they are toothpicks how much pressure does it apply ? Thanks again for the great videos.

    Should’ve called the power company and reported somebody stealing power there. They would have been down in a few minutes.

    Is it part of your gig to remove the debris from the site? In other words are you going to supply a truck and load up & haul away the debris? I appreciate you have to/want to separate the brick from the wood. Would you gain any efficiency getting the haul-away truck (presumably a dump truck) and chew off the second story & roof and load it right into the truck? Seems to me you could probably get a good dumptruck load from the 2nd story & roof and whatever you can grab from the ground floor. You haven't touched any brickwork yet. Next you go after the ground floor and you have the irritating wood/brick separation exercise. But there's only half as much wood involved.
