Great video! Awesome all of that mountain range. They certainly cop some rain last year with land slides. Dr's sound even better when there's more than one. And Phil I like how u travel light
Thanks Johnny, glad you liked it mate! And bummer about the gearbox. Maybe be cheaper / wiser to start again and use the bike for parts. Either way, hope you are up and running again soon 🙏😎
Love the Barrington Tops. I was thinking about taking my new bike up there for a day trip tomorrow but I don't think I will as I have to much to do at home atm. Nice video mate thanks for sharing.
Hope you got out there mate. Beautiful range to explore - especially the north runs. Some great camping options too - but too cold for me this time of year...lol Cheers mate 👍
@@MidCoastAdventures no I didn't get to the Barrington today. I did some exploring closer to home. I still did 294kms and took 6 hours. I was a bit late to do my chores for the wife. Oops
Awesome video Phil - really enjoyed that. It's such a beautiful area. I'll be looking at doing the route you did next time I'm there, and ideally get the same camp site - that was a ripper!! Love the wildlife and scenic captures as always, a good mix of riding and the experience in the bush. Been through once on the bike - have to say the views on the Western Descent are incredible!! Went back with Wifey in the Ute in 2019 to camp at Polblue - got out of the car and it was 3C and a howling wind, so we went down to Glanbawn Dam instead, haha!
Cheers David 😎👍 Sounds too cold for me when you went through!...lol I did ride through there in August a few years back - 4 degs at 4 pm 🥶 This trip was 12 to 22, bloody perfect! Ps- planning on camping up the Clarence somewhere in a few weeks if ya free and want to join me. Cheers mate
@@MidCoastAdventures cool, let me know mate. Was planning a shakedown trip for my camping gear for my annual fortnight away in May. Was thinking 19 Mar maybe ..
Cheers Gumby! Was a sweet escape out of the coastal heat 😎 No more from that trip mate, another camping run soon I hope, probably way up the Clarence River 👍
Hi Lance, glad you enjoy the videos mate 😎👍 The GPS is a TomTom 550 Rider. Seem pretty good, had if for a year or so. Not overly dear and can be updated regularly to keep the maps up to date. Cheers
