DAY6 (데이식스) "Afraid" Illustrated MV

Often times, we tend to keep a lot of our emotions to ourselves in fear of worrying the people whom we love and those who know us.
There are those sleepless nights when our thoughts are so deafening -but nobody could hear us because we chose to shut them out. We end up battling these thoughts alone, because we believe that this was for the best.
But lately, I’ve been thinking that maybe I was putting in a lot of burden to myself. I wake up everyday feeling so drained and exhausted. I foolishly thought that I could make it through life on my own-but I couldn’t. I realized that while it’s important to be independent, it is equally essential to be able to nurture our relationships and let them grow.
There was this quote that stuck with me from one of the books that I love, and I would like to share it with you guys:

On a sidenote, it's great to be back! 😭The past few months have been very challenging and it really did took a big impact on me and my work. Just recently I had the worst artblock, and I didn't know how to get back into the usual grind. It was scary to think that I may not be able to produce another project, another illustration, or anything that I wished to create.
After taking a few days off, I began to slowly pick up a few inspirations and gain motivation again to draw. I guess, once in a while, we need to step back and take a break from all the hustle. It might seem like we are slacking off, but I do think that it's productivity in another form 🧐✨
So yeah, that's about it for a backstory on what's going on while I was away! I really do hope that you guys enjoy this one too! 💕
