DrumCamDAN was started so I could have a place to put my drum content - Metallica Drum Covers, Gear reviews and demos etc - It's also a bit more fun and less business on this channel. The Studio is a very serious place and the content is more cut and paste. I wanted a creative outlet with this channel.
While I am growing the channel I will be trying to uploading a new Metallica drum cover every week and hope to start adding some gear reviews, demos and a kit walk throughs really soon.
The drum kit is a Mapex Saturn that I have setup into a Lars Ulrich tribute / Replica kit for these videos. I play all Sabian cymbals - most of which (on this kit) are from their custom shop.
The snare in the video is the Lars Ulrich signature Tama snare - No, its not the "St. Anger" snare LOL - It sounds great !
I'm currently using Chaos Drum Heads - Hammerdin on the snare top, Phantom 300s on the snare bottom, Clear Monarchs on all the toms and Kicks and Resonant Blacks on all the resonant heads.
