Wow man!! I applaud the build, but I really applaud the dedication to it! The sheer amount of time and filament it took to see this through is incredible. Congrats on the epic build!
Well my mind is blown!🤯👏👏👏👏 I bet with those syringes and a mini chain, you could fabricate a drawbridge on a castle! Possibilities are endless! On to the next video!!
Really cool, man. I would personally just use non colored water. I'd be too afraid of springing a leak and the food coloring staining the mat or whatever it lands on.
Love the fact that this build is usable in so many different ways! I think I like the fort setup best too, but the wall is so magnificent as well! Awesome job, dude! 😎
Thank a lot! When I started I didn't know if it would work so I am happy with the results. I see you have some cool projects of your own on your channel! Very cool stuff as well.
Top tip from one terrain printer to another. When you run out of filament or get a clog and you get a failed print if the top edge is still flat and relatively clean you can measure how much printed then take the object in your slicer and cut it at that point and just print the top then glue them together.
Fun idea 👏 Would work great with a vertically raising/lowering gate between two towers. I wonder if something, a bit more complex could pull and release a chain for a drawbridge or controll swinging doors.
Dude that is epic! Hope your channel keeps growing as your videos are top notch. Could even dry brush some metallic over the zip ties then add some rust to make it look like a chain system, not that anyone would see them much from behind the wall. I'd love to see some battle damage or something over the walls
Thanks a lot! I have been trying to get better at this TH-cam thing! For sure, some battle damage would be a good idea... I started to rush at the end because this project took so long to print haha.
The nice thing about terrain is that 90% of print failure are just happy accidents. Could take a torch to it and make some terrain that got hit by plasma or a melta shot.
The STLs are available on my Patreon, you can dip in and grab them for $3 and anything else I have on there. There is a Predator Style Tank, and a Pillbox Bunker as well. There are videos of those on my channel as well. I plan to do more files in the future.
In your experience playing with these pieces now, would it be worth creating small indents for magnets to ensure the barricades on top don't slide off / and to snap the walls together? Awesome build though! Really enjoyed watching the creation process.
Yeah, that would be a good idea, they slide around a little, nothing crazy but some magnets would hold them down nicely and still allow them to be removed for scatter terrain.
This is live now and is about to officially launch next week... I hate the self plug... but these files will be on my Pateron Account along with a lot more cool stuff www.patreon.com/user?u=44913215&fan_landing=true
This is brand new and I haven't official launched it yet, but my Patreon will be up soon and these files will be there next week: www.patreon.com/user?u=44913215&fan_landing=true

Wow man!! I applaud the build, but I really applaud the dedication to it! The sheer amount of time and filament it took to see this through is incredible. Congrats on the epic build!
Thanks. Yeah this was a long build from design to assembly. Now I need to order more filament again haha.
Well my mind is blown!🤯👏👏👏👏

Ohhh good idea! A drawbridge would be cool! Thanks for checking out all these videos!
That's a lot of filament, holy cow. Great mechanism!
Thanks my man... yeah it was a lot of filament for sure.... more then I thought when I was drafting it up in blender.
perhaps having some kind of aligning rail on the wall sections would allow for a more consistent travel upward
I agree... didn't anticipate it to be floppy lesson learned for next time.
Very original idea!
It looks really like a plaything and something like a child's dream of modular terrain
Thanks. We'll my youngest loves it haha. He keeps playing with it.
@@FacilityD20 Well, my daughter is about 40 days old, so I've to wait to play such game with her :-D
Really cool, man.
I would personally just use non colored water. I'd be too afraid of springing a leak and the food coloring staining the mat or whatever it lands on.
I think that is bound to happen haha!
That is the coolest terrain. Great idea!
Thank you very much. I am very happy with how it turned out
This is so simple and straightforward I can't believe I never thought of it. Amazing work
Glad you like it!
This is spectacular! What a cool build and awesome use of hydraulics.
Thanks a lot

really amazing best terrein peace i seen in a long time.
I love the layer lines on the concrete.
thanks
What an amazing build.
Thanks a ton!

I have yet to be brave enough to attempt this
12:45 "Yeah, so you can catch more great content like that over on my OnlyFans page..."
Yes Inquisitor, that's the heresy right there!
Haha.. wondering if anyone would catch that comment.
You are one smooth operator
Thanks kindly
Some big, stencilled numbers or letters on those big wall panels could add some extra pop. However, this is a cool idea, well realised.
Great idea!
Brilliant terrain video . Incredible work for this stunning wall !
Thank you kindly.
Tons of planning and engineering worked! Great job
Thanks a lot! I just noticed you have a channel as well! So I subbed.
Looks deadly man. Good job
Thanks 👍
That came together as some really useful terrain, actually blocks LoS and forces movement around
I like terrain that forces movement as well
This thing is unreal. You make it look easy!
Haha thanks. It only took about 5 weeks haha.
Fun idea 👏

@@FacilityD20 Your doing great mate and i enjoy watching your content.
Yeah i bet it took long! :D
Wow! Inspirational and really well done!
Thanks so much!

Haha.. this is very true
Absolutely insane and also what an amazing project, really really good 😎👌👍
Thank you kindly man.
oh my Emperor it's so cool!
Thanks! Took a long time to print, but came out nicely I think.
@@FacilityD20 it sure does man ^^
next step: magnets to change iconography on the pannels depending on the faction ;)
Amazing work!
I would love to see the hydraulics on a gate. Amazing work!
Maybe one day!! I would like to make it for sure.
@@FacilityD20 dude this set up is beautiful. Thank you for these vids.
Showing my 3d printing buddies these
What would you add if you made a version 2 of it? I was thinking rails/groove to assist in the sliding up and down to take place of those zip ties.
I agree, one day i might go back and edit the stl files
I'd love to see something like this but with a raiseable gate.
A lot of people made that request. I might revist this one day
Have you thought about making a gate or portcullis style section to add to this awesome project
I did for a gate yes, but never revisited this project
Those syringes are a great idea to use as hydraulic rams
Thanks! I bought the pharmacy out haha
Nice
That’s really neat
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Wow I want to see it working.
It does at the end of the video
That is so awesome Troy! I'm curious if you can apply the same principle to some kind of hydraulic gate that lifts up!
Yes for sure. I might Revist this idea in thr future
Thanks. Nice work.
Happy to know you enjoyed it.
What movie is the clip from that you showed at the start? It was at roughly 1:05 in. Looks like a movie I really would like.
It's one of the mase runner sequels
This is really fucking cool, subbed!
Thanks a lot! I have a simple fort I have drafted now and will make a video on next week to.
@@FacilityD20 keen!
DORN IS FORTIFYING
Hell yes
So. So you have plans to perfect and sell the STL? I'd be interested

Looks great! Do you have a link for where you bought the hydraulics?
I picked up 10ml syringes from my local pharmacy, I believe I still have the packaging I will look to find the name of them.
That is cool
Thank you very much
Wow love it
Thank you!
