Cheers Black Knight, very much appreciated! :) You could have loads of fun painting them up with the different skeleton parts on. Pretty sure the half face Reiver lids would look decent too. :)
Also, wanted to say this on the other video, I'm not a space Marine player but your video on how to paint the scratches on a rhino made me want to buy one just to do that.
Oh my god.. the Flames.. and the Skull on the Shoulder Pad.. definitely your greatest Paint Job ever.. like.. double like.. triple like.. i love your painting tutorials.. maybe you get a Job by the 'eavy metal Team??!!... you are the Vincent van Gogh of mini painting.. greetings from Vienna🇦🇹🇦🇹🇦🇹
Wow, thats amazing. i learn so may little things in your videos even if I am not working on something directly related. But now I need to come up with justification to build a force of these guys. :)
Cheers Redcorsair14, very much appreciated! :) I'm glad you're finding them useful. :) I'm hoping they get some new enlarged miniatures. They have the tech to make some incredible minis, so hopefully they'll make them. :)
Really nice video & a great model at the end. I've done a small Legion of the Damn squad. All plasma armed, but with the FW MK4 Legion Destroyer armour and all Enkomi heads. To be honest, I never painted the flames on them. I never could take to it. I actually painted the grieves bone colour, which was an interesting finish against the black armour. Really enjoy your freehand, as I don't have the confidence for such a skill. Always incredible work from you. PS. Is it just me, but the Legion of the Damned are missing from Codex: Space Marines? Are they included in a supplement or something, or have GW erased them from the tabletop now? :(
Cheers Dreamzkape, very much appreciated! :) I'm hoping they're getting a reworking and fitted back into everything somehow. They were some superb looking miniatures, and deserve some new miniatures. I'm keeping everything crossed they get new ones one day! :)
"Damned Legionaries" are Legends now. Slow, one-wound Tactical Marines in the Elites slot, but they ignore the "benefits of cover," have a universal 3++, Ld10, and they Deep Strike. Battlescribe also says they have a rule called "Saviours from Beyond" that lets you run 3 units of them as a Vanguard Detachment with no HQ. Your army still (presumably) needs a Warlord, but this would let a detachment of Damned Legionaries deep-strike in to support an allied army! I cannot find a source for that rule, however, it's not in their Legends dataslate. If in doubt, run your LotD as a normal chapter, and bring some drop pods and Terminators for their deep-striking abilities. Salamanders have a big focus on fire, which is fun, Deathwatch have special-issue ammo.
Hey man so I only got back into Warhammer again a couple months ago and have decided to start a new army, tzeench and have found that they are painted very different from the previous army's I've painted(khorne and bretonnia, and the l battle for skull pass and soul wars boxs) unless I just can't find them I dont think you've done any tzeench units, and all the other videos I've tried to find are speed painting or of a lot lower quality than your models, so if you could do some tzeench I'd appreciate it so much, especially the horrors (mine are so much worse than usual standard) and lord of change, but a lot of other demons and characters too if I'm honest :p Anyway thanks for content, peace
Cheers Crusty Juggler, very much appreciated! :-) They're miniatures I've wanted to paint for a while, but it's the time and money at the moment. I know I will sooner or later (they look like a lot of fun to paint and very bright colours! :). If I can manage to do this full time one day rather than a few evenings a week I'd be painting up all kinds! haha :)
Has anyone else noticed that Game's Workshop has pretty much stayed sold out lately? Even the local distributors I found (US) haven't even been able to get paints let alone models like the Necron Overlord.
Is that at the LGSs or the GW bricks and mortar stores? I think they’ve been moving warehouses so that could be it. Hopefully normal services will be resumed soon! :)
Wow. What a great looking model. The skull on his shoulder pad is awesome. Great work man!
Cheers Bjorn, very much appreciated! :) Really happy with how it turned out! :)

Reminds me of Art Attack because of your accent.
“Legion of the Damned, try it ya self” 😂
Hahaha! That's high praise even on just the accent, Neil Buchanan is a legend! :) Cheers azb0111, very much appreciated! :)

What black did you use for the base coat?
Hey Mr Random, thanks for watching! :) I used Halfords Matt Black :)

Oh man!... Did the Legion of the Damned knew the primaris upgrade? 😅
Haha, they had the Rubicon Primaris in the *cough, cough...* etc... ;)
I had an urge to paint one after the Fire Hawks! :)
