This is an interesting clock because of the little bird that moves and the unusual escapement. I found myself cringing a little when you decided to take the plates apart without putting a clamp on the mainspring but fortunately nothing got damaged. Congratulations on getting it running.

The springs on these clocks are fairly weak. I have seen others using a plastic wire tie to contain the spring.
