- Let's try that upload again lol. At Gamescom I got to play some Towerborne! And to my surprise, it's pretty damn amazing. Here's some basic impressions with more detail up on WindowsCentral.com a bit later.

what's more amazing about this is that Stoic's (the developer) only franchise is freaking Banner Saga which is nothing like this. really hyped to see what they come up with.

I have heard of Towerborne, but I was unsure about it as I thought it was turn based. However, it's not, so I will definitely give this a look! I really enjoyed the trailer. A great vid Jez mate, and hope to see more from gamescom here. Forza looks outstanding!

Not sure i should trust Wrong Man but i do like the way the gane looks and the Sidescroller beat em up type of games are almost always fun. Even though calling it a beat em up might be over simplifying it.

Isn't the combat too slow? Because looking at the characters hitting like 1 strike per second made me mistrust that the game could be fun.
I couldn't bear watching the 7 min gameplay trailer without increasing it's speed x1,5. And no kidding, that might be the first time I ever done that when whatching any beat'em up gameplay.
There’s no splitscreen.
Unless I misheard I'm pretty sure there is split screen. They definitely said local coop.
@@jez.c There is local co-op, but the screen doesn’t need to split in a beat ‘em up.
