- Aaj mai safar kar raha tha apne desh ki 10th Vande Bharat Express Shirdi se Mumbai tak executive class mai safar kar raha tha es train ka food kafi bad tha ham logo ne complain bhi kiya uske baad catering wale ne apna galti mana or ham logo ko Dadar mai dusra food diya and kuch technical karan se train ka light bhi cut ja raha tha or automatic door bhi proper kam nahi kar raha tha.
बहुत ही अच्छा लगा, बहुत गर्व हुआ मुझे आज अपनी जनता की जागरूकता देख कर । इसी तरह अगर जनता समझदार और संगठित और एक रहेगी तो ये सब चोर भ्रष्ट सरकारी नौकर सुधर जाएंगे, बहुत अच्छा काम किया सब जनता ने, आनंद आ गया ।
Though the food was horrible , but the manager was so calm and cool even though so many people were pouncing on him at once in high tone voice but the calmness was excellent , i need that type of calmness to handle tense situation instead of outbursting.

This is the first train which is manufactured in india itself,till now only four trains are manufactured. As a responsible citizen we should give the proper feedback to Indian Railways so they improve it in further manufacturing units.

IRCTC should stop full-fledged meal service in VB. Just keep some basic packed refreshments, beverages and fresh fruits which people can buy on board. Catering is an unnecessary overhead for IR on VB routes.

Well I think making Indian food is also challenging. I mean it's not easy to cater food of such type. People also expect taste like some 3 star hotel etc. See in foreign nations they have food which are kind of storable like bread etc. So it makes things easy. Things will take time. It's huge nation. They are trying their best to improve. We have to support.

Staff didn't did anything railway sometimes hire third party caterers for food they cause issues. Power cut and doors are responsible due to lack of maintenance

I have only travelled once in Indian railways and I had very bad experience of railway food..hope Indian Railway improves on this...Ashwini Vaishnaw or Modiji should look into this as it is question of public health, we pay huge amount starting around 200 to 300 and get food that can cost us huge medical expense or bad health!!!
I have been part of the Catering in Indian Railways, if the food is from IRCTC kitchens it is good but most of these trains have private caterers who have base kitchens and they bribe the Railway Officials to get the contracts . There is still rampant corruption
The railway ministry should seriously focus on such issues. Atleast hire some experience staff who can provide good service... Food is always a major issue for railway ministry.. PPL are paying such a huge amount for food and in return they are not getting quality food ..inquiry should be held against catering department

One of comedy instance I noticed that in Hussain sagar Express all the unreserved people boarded the ac coaches from tandoor to Hyderabad.making it a general compartment and passengers hardly had any space to go to washrooms.
Same happened with me i tweeted and took out all passengers from my coach 1rpf and tte solved my problem
It is railways failure to provide sufficient coaches to general class tickets holders.

Anything govt will never be quality. These should be build maintained and catering should be done by private companies. Govt should just oversee the quality of services and trains.

If you are disgruntled with the food or service, you have the right to complain, but in a civilised manner, not like a fish market! And definitely don't return your food AFTER finishing some of it if you actually want to prove your point.
Hats off to the train manager for keeping his cool when faced with such a mob. This looks like a one-off incident with the technical difficulties, and I would not judge the entire Vande Bharat service based on this.

Vanda Bharat or bullet trains when railway employees are not working properly and they don't maintain their grievance system properly it's of no use. We would be always lagging in their development as railways concentrate to suck our blood by telling premium trains but the service is the worst always as usual

Yes, food in Vande bharat is pathetic. My father had food from vande bharat train, suffered from acidic ulcer and was admitted for three days in hospital. Food is pathetic. Food ingredients ised are very low quality.
