First time “meeting “ Malcom. We use the same fridge as a back up freezer for the “big salmon” on the west coast of BC and then transfer it to our camper to run in the back seat of the truck for “whatever”. Was looking for a cover idea for the salt water exposure and saw this review. So-as a multi use Canuck Kudos to Engel and “glad to meet ya, Malcom”. 👍👍👍 Nordlys (the boat) and Looney Bin (the truck back camper)
Buying a 38lt engel next week at assie dissposals $850 new.I looked at other makes but when i saw malcolm douglas plugging these it was a was a no brainer. R.I.P Malcolm
Yeah I agree. I bought a cheap Brass Monkey fridge and it’s caused me nothing but grief. They’ve agreed to refund me in full. I can still hear my mates saying “Just get a bloody Engel” Well now that I’ve been down the cheap garbage road, I’m buying a bloody Engel!!!
