Looking into a FSE job, and this gives me a realistic perspective into it. I appreciate your video, keep it up, you're very good at telling your daily story.
So cool man! I'm currently on a trial for a field Service tech position here in Brazil! Its really nice to see a routine of someone who is already doin the job! Really nice video! Tks for sharing
Hi Raymond, Im Kenneth from Tenom, Sabah. Recently I received my internship at Baker Hughes as Field Services Intern. Thank you for sharing this wonderful and informative video, really inspiring and make me more enthusiastic in field services area. 😁
I date someone that does this and he says its a 12+ hour job daily basis, and hes remote… hes on call on weekands as well… our convo has been slowing down so idk if its true that hes super busy. I dont know if i should fall back and move on or stay dating him when we barely talk now.
Hi there. Yes you can, it’s actually depends on the company. Strict companies might need your certification for the job as to comply with the practising law of engineering. But when you’ve finished your degree, you will get your license soon, dont worry.
I’m a FSE for a medical laser company. My degree was in biology and I worked as an electrician for over 10 years. Hated my life and went back to school to get my BMET certificate. Happier now and you can be too. Go for it, it worked for me and I never thought it would.
Hi there Dol Tortogo! I could say not all FSE work alone, there are some engineering fields that require additional hands in doing their works like crane maintenance, pipings, general etc. How I start was, actually i was a mechanical grad, before venturing into FSE I was a mechanical engineer in manufacturing field. Although what im doing as FSE is totally new to me (since it involves elec&electronics, mechanical, software), i think they still consider that my mechanical experience can benefit them, but so far I learned a lot. If u have the enthusiasm and learning attitude u for sure can do anything u want. Anyway thank you for watching my video! So happy that it is beneficial to you too 💪💪
It depends on the company. Most companies require degree holders for engineer position, as your name is stated inside the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
Hi bro, It depends but if you’re experienced you can always try to apply abroad since some of the companies accept expatriates for their expertise, especially oil and gas sector. 👍👍
Hi amha, congrats on the job offer! Allowance is provided usually for people who needs to travel a lot while working. For me, I am given monthly car allowance and also fuel claim. Anyways, u should ask your employer about that the soonest! Thank you for watching my vid!
