- Today we set off from the busy emergency mooring at Leamington Spa, after crashing my drone in a 20-metre-high tree. unfortunately its not retrievable for now... But "I'll be back". After having a slight confrontation with a very speedy boater. We head up several locks through some beautiful countryside to Bascote wharf.

Congregation on your grandchild , I have five grand kids up to now. And i think that will be it. One in the Isle Man .Two next door .,One Somerset ,And the last one is in Dorset . Two girls and three boys.

Nice . Go get some drain rods , their cheap and come in 10m 15m metres or longer, might be handy on a long boat

I plant acorns every year and pass on the trees to farmers love them
Line of sight, Josh, prevents you doing this!
Might I suggest a fishing catapault , a golf ball and some heavy duty line or thin man made rope to get it up there and shake the branches about.
Also an arborist throw line kit or bow and arrow with line attached.

It is so very sad that people are mean and ugly. Just what is the point? Do not take it personally, Josh. It is they with the problem. I do hope you get your drone back…that is a bad feeling to have happen. Holding good thoughts for success with that project. Pretty cruise.

Don’t bother with drain rods as when you put them together they’ll just bend Just keep an eye out for a second Hand fishing pole the longer the better and keep it stored away. I have a deaf and dumb lad that lives near me and one afternoon of sleep in my chair and the front door was open, he came in and pulled me out of my chair and show me where his ball was in the tree. I had to get my fishing landing net out and knock it out of the tree for him at the time use about seven or eight and he still goes in plays football, and he must be 18 now , good luck with getting it back you could send the cat up for it 😂 only banter 👍👍👍👍🏴🐈⬛🐈⬛

Bad luck your drones up the tree . Your Dads a fisherman , he could cast his rod up with weights on the line and knock it off , even if the line gets tangled just cut it off and try again , cheaper than a drone . Or get someone with another drone to have a hook or weight on a long line and pick it up or dislodge it , good luck anyway :-)

Hi Josh what about another drone with a bit of fishing line and a hook to hover over your drone to dislodge it from the branch you may be able to tip it off to drop down I have two new drones so you could try it they both have 3 battery s
I am in Atherstone but heading down to Braunston so you could always collect one you are welcome to keep it as you can fly it and I can watch the film clips especially the one where you get your drone back 🤭

Totally agree. We always go on tickover past moored boats. But we are in the minority 😮
