I feel the biggest difference is the removal of the container max width. Before it was 1024px, then 1200, 1400, 1600, 1920. Now it usually fits entire device.
I was thinking many websites look almost all the same, very blocky, rectangle, space, rectangle, space, rectangle.... I find that there is a loss of creativity. So this was refreshing... I think... 😅
So when I put these websites on a carbon calculator (like ecograder), their scores are atrocious. I suppose they have too many assets and unused code. Do you have any examples of weird + low energy use?
