Hello, I'm using X-Particles in Cinema 4D to create a wave effect with the 'wave' feature. I set the particle emitter to a small size for higher-quality water representation, but I’m encountering an issue where the foam reacts too strongly. Even small waves cause the foam to shoot up dramatically before falling back down. Could you advise on why this might be happening and how to control the foam’s behavior?
I'm angry that I found this video too early and part 2 isn't done haha, great work man! When you separated the foam from the water, it helped me with an issue I'm having too
Please attach project file so I can compare my version to yours. Mine didn't turn out at all. Review: 3/10. It's clear this is ripped straight from an official Insydium tutorial, my advice: Watch that instead. It's called "Maintenance Training - Dynamics - Fluids - Series 3 - Intro to Wave and Foam." Review: My foam sinks straight to the bottom, and I feel like I've rewatched this 1000x, all these cuts make me question if something was changed but not said. It's possible because my "beach" is different but the OP didn't include it so I don't know. Also I'm pretty sure OP changed the colors of the particles but didn't say. He never talks about the OCTANE part of this with the HDRI or the material. You spend an hour pausing this video every 3 seconds to see if you missed something he sped up the video with and then when you finally get to the part where you're supposed to make it look nice he completely skips over how to do that.

Great.
Can you show how you made the water shader ?
Don't you love how tutorial creators just omit vital portions?
