It's likely that this Explorer used for the upgrade was a base model, and may not have had a back-up camera. So we likely installed an aftermarket license plate camera that does not have moving guidelines prior to shooting this video to show how the camera looks in the 8" display. We don't carry an OEM style camera for the Ford Explorer that would have the moving guidelines unfortunately.
i bought and installed this update to my 2016 explorer and the steering wheel controls stopped working, also the usb ports for the mid section of the car also failed. and I can no longer see the image from my front camera. Is there something to fix this?

Yes these are procured based on the Vin. There are a few variants but the Vin allows us to ensure you get the right one. This is compatible with all 2016 Explorers.

$1400+ when others sell them for $600-800? What's the difference? If my explorer already comes with built in GPS and I refuse GPS at the checkout will I no longer have it? Or can I connect my OEM antena to it? I pretty much only want it for the android auto
The difference is we offer factory OEM radios that are plug and play. You will not need to do any wire cutting to install our products like you would have to with aftermarket products.

My bezel is touch sensitive, not physical buttons, will there be anything differences or will it all work the same as SYNC 2? My vehicle also has rear climate as well and buttons in the back will those be working when I upgrade? I also have heated seats. I have the XLT 2015 Explorer
