Megatron's throne isn't just a jumbled up design, it's actually a combination of the insignias from every faction up to this point in the franchise: Autobot, Decepticon, Maximal, Predacon, and Vehicon

that's the idea, Megatron is basically trying to be like his creator and since the Oracle and Vector Sigma are tied to Primus it makes sense why they charged Primal with stopping him. especially since Megatron's goal is to turn Cybertron purely technological, it would have destroyed Primus

@InvalidGesture The whole "voice of reason" thing Optimus does really wore thin in this series. In BW/BM, Megatron has tried to destroy humanity, shot the original Optimus in the face, depopulated Cybertron, corrupted Primal's friends and is now absorbing all of the sparks and is attempting to reformat the planet. Oh, and he stole the Optimal body too. Yet Primal STILL thinks he can be reasoned with using drawn out speeches. I agree, Optimus Primal is very stupid.
