A guy at the last REC meetup had an Amalgam with the flipper tab removed. While we were there he also had the front portion (or upper I guess) of the finger well (guard, whatever it’s called) removed so it could be used as a front flipper.

Hell yea brother love the knives in the vid. The amalgam is such an aesthetically pleasing knife but the flipper tab through the compression lock is a deal breaker for me sadly. I don't know if it's possible but a smock-like button lock with the amalgam sillouette would be an instant buy for me haha
100 percent honesty, I think its one of the best (I don't say that lightly) for edc like top 5 all time lol I made a series on it then it fell thru when I gave it away
