    nice work; have a 390rr, I can imagine the 500 to handle on single track. not easy everyday ;)

      Quick question for you. Did you install the 4 gallon tank yourself? I have a 3 gallon I need to install. Wondering how hard it was.

      @@romydomdom hey, I actually got the dealer to put it on before I picked up the bike. Good luck

    Love the vids, picking up a 2024 Beta RS 500 in a couple months. I SOLO singletracked on my YZ250F a few times until I narrowly escaped a similar situation. Wish you had a riding buddy. Like here in British Columbia, there's no shortage of predators in them thar hills. Hope your luck continues!

    That's a nice little ride Cam. Are you equipped with a 21" tube and pump etc? What tools and spares do you take with you. How come you don't mount your camera on the chin? Sorry about all the questions, but I relate to and love doing what you are doing. Cheers till next time.

      Hey, all good about the questions. Yes I take a bunch of tools etc with me, maybe too much but want to be ready for things, especially when ride most of the time by myself in remote areas.
      Here is a video that shows stuff I take:

      Here is a newer video that has some updates for what I take:

      Re the GoPro mount, I have not found a good way to mount a GoPro on the front of the helmet, if you have any suggestions I would be keen to know.
      Cheers, Cam.

    I was pretty set on getting the 390rrs for doing the same thing you are. After watching your videos, I’m now considering the 500. How do you think the 390 would do at elevation (I live in Golden so would be riding the same trails you are). Incidentally, that trail going up out of Eldora has some super sketchy spots in it. I came down that in my 4runner and made my kids get out and walk in a couple of off camber sections where it’s a 1000 vertical feet to the valley floor with nothing to stop the roll. 😬

    • @advtorque
      @advtorque  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You lose horse power at elevation so I would go 500 for that reason too. The power is very controlled and smooth on 500 so you should be sweet.

    • @wyootto264
      @wyootto264 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@advtorque The power loss at elevation is one of my biggest concerns. That said, the 390 has the longest stroke of any of the RR-S models and therefore should have some good torque low down in the rev range. But your videos clearly show that the 500 has some good tractor factor! Thanks for the reply!!

      @@wyootto264 yeah man, it is a awesome tractor, and can rip when you want it to too! Cheers

    That single track was cool, but, that’s NOT the Switzerland Trail.

    • @advtorque
      @advtorque  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BoulderMTBR used it as the general area, not too far off it though.

    • @advtorque

      I finished going up the Switzerland trail. Your right though the single track is not part of the trail.
