Just heard about this tablet, and after watching a few videos, like yours, I pulled the trigger. Should be here in Tuesday! I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas!
So the tablet arrived and I am very impressed! I have the M4 13" iPad Pro and Tab S9 Ultra and I haven't touched them since this tablet arrived. We'll see if it will keep my interest in a few months, but for now, I am having a good experience with it.
I delight in mine. It will serve as a good 3D camera. Has an app for posting 3D pics that can be appreciated all over the world. (I enjoy seeing others' pics, which inform and inspire me in my 3D photography with my Fujifilm Finepix W3.) It has an app that lets you set up a continuous slide show of your pics, which visitors view with a "Wow...!" Has an AI app that lets you use AI to create any visual you can put into words-- and in stereo. Can be used as a second monitor with your desktop, which would be good if you do models for 3D printing. Apparently the discount mentioned has ended now in mid-January, 2024, but they have offered them off-and-on over the past summer and fall, so keep your eyes open for another.
Thx for the informative vid, nicely made.....I have the QooCam Ego 3D and am capturing video of my three year old while I can...hoping to be able to watch on this, or something like it, down the road. (ps....did you make your hat out of an oculus quest 2 case? :)
So the value is purely on the software side and they chosen the least expensive platform, able use that software. In my opinion, they should up the device specs a little bit in the future, and cut their margins a little bit as well, for the specific device... At that price level, devices are a multi-year investment, they should offer at least last year's specs. It's not a "flagship" device, spec-wise. Let's see if they would offer something better on the hardware side, for the.. Lume pad 3. Even considering that I'm intrigued with the 3D functionality, I don't believe it deserves the $$$ asked, based only on that....
I’m certainly looking forward to what the Lume Pad 3 will have in store. From my understanding, Leia’s focus is on the tech itself, as opposed to the tablet - it’s one way to showcase 3D for sure, but I can see them partnering with companies that focus on devices, the likes of Samsung, Lenovo, etc, and licensing the tech. Either way, I’m excited to see what they have coming next
I totally agree with your comments. The tablet is held back by an old version of Android. It does NOT support expandable storage - there no mention of an SD card in the settings menu.

You think this will be the next best thing? Will it be able to steer some of the market their way? And eventually overtop it?
The the screen get dimmer when you put it in 3D mode?
Amazing tablet. It adds something new, 3d with no glasses and high specs. Well done.
Yes indeed!
Are we talking about the same product? How do you save $500 when the tablet is listed at $500?
Msrp is $1,100, that was also the case at the time I made the video
@@IvanKam11 Ah gotcha. Quite the price drop in 6 months!

I was contemplating using the code and it worked on January 3rd. Now, the field to enter the code is missing HAHAHA
Wish was OLED, IPS is old technology.
SD 888 is a relic , as well.

@@IvanKam11 Αgreed Ivan. In the context of showcasing - let's hope for a wider adaptation of this tech 👍

You can put an expandable storage in this about 2 terabyte @@medrep1000
But will it scrub my floors? :)
😂😅that’s gonna have to be their next research and development project
It's not AI. It's a program, with no intelligence whatsoever.
