Sir, I am paraplegic and just bought a house with a basement I can't access. Nor can I afford the outrageous prices for a platform lift. A chair lift is problematic as I am in an electric wheelchair and transferring to a chair list seat at the top of a stair case is dangerous for me. Yours intrigues me and I would like to ask some questions: What would be the weight bearing limit for that lift? Is, or can, the winch be controlled with a hand-held remote control (do they make them like that) so I could operate it independently from either the top or the bottom of the stairs? Is there an automatic shut-off at the top and the bottom to keep it from overshooting or would I have to eye-ball it and manually stop it at a desired position? Do you have any information you think I should know that I haven't thought to ask? LOL Disclaimer: I understand this is not it's intended use (as a wheelchair lift) and I am merely asking as research. Any and all helpful suggestions, ideas, etc would be immensely appreciated so I can have full independent access to my own home without having to shell out several thousand dollars for a commercially designed lift. Thank-you for your time, sir!
Is a Great ..mechanism and looks very neat too What makes it pulling is the Winch engine the rest is . Talent and abilities in the project . That's is cool neat. For Furnitures . Etc
I am disabled and I need to storage my backup powerchair, and my brother just made um like that for me. It's very useful, I can bring my chair, snowblower and some other stuff down to the basement.
can you please ahow us how it's made? this is awesome and I need one for my elderly dogs.

Incredible beautiful
Can you do a video showing the connections in more detail?
Is it possible to locate the cable on either side so that it doesn't get in the way of people walking the steps?
