      hello, May I ask you something? I know it's quite your personal info but I don't know who I can ask and I searched on internet. it couldn't answer my question.
      if a foreigner holds S pass and work online job (such as TH-camr, blogger) receive an allowance on others currency (not SGD) and not a Singapore bank. it's self-employed. how to tax? Thank you 🙏

    Would love to hear your thoughts on local hawker cuisine as an affordable option! For example, what are your favourite hawker foods, and why are they your favourites? What have you experienced as underrated and overrated to eat in Singapore?

    Hey Adrian! Thanks for your video. Always looked up on your new content every Wednesday! Just some questions, as a foreigner is this the right time to apply jobs in Singapore right now? Ive been following you and watched the video that u shared on tips how to get a job in SG. Ive been applying jobs nonstop everyday on Jobstreet but all i get is rejections :( Honestly speaking im at the erge of giving up.

    This is definitely not the typical cost of living in Singapore. He’s basically living on a very tight budget, not spending anything on some of ‘nice to haves’ that most people would want in order to enjoy life. The reality is that if you want to make friends and socialise, you will be going out and spending at least SGD 100 per dinner

    • @AdrianWan1
      @AdrianWan1  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      aw its quite sad if you can only socialize and enjoy life by spending 100SGD on dinner

    So it's very similar to Southern California the only exceptions being transportation and the phone. Apartment prices vary here depending on the region and aparrment or home style from a low 800 to a high 4000 a month.

      I would say that food is mostly cheaper in Singapore due to the presence of hawker centres where food can be as cheap as $2

    Hey, this is great info! I've been looking at doing a master's at one of Singapore's universities - I keep reading about people doing study abroad programs there, but not the full degree... Am I thinking about doing something crazy? Man I wish I knew a Singaporean so I could ask some stuff...

      It depends so much on your personal circumstances, and what country you are from. If your country has good unis then you should consider staying for cheaper tuition. I considered graduate CS studies in Singapore, but it seems like most Singaporeans prefer to do grad studies in the US.
      If you want to study Asian culture/language or just want to live/work in Singapore/Asia then it's a good idea, they do have some of the top unis in Asia.

    • @fusion9619
      @fusion9619 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@liamwatts7105 makes sense. I really like Asia I'd prefer to live over there. Of course, I'm sure Singapore is very different from the parts of Asia I've seen. That's part of the reason it's interesting, though.
