This bar looks really cool and inventive! I look forward to using it one of these days. I have to say, it’s disappointing that they would ship a high-tech device with an archaic USB A to USB-C cable. Sure you can use your own USB-C to USB-C cable but for that price point, I’d expect getting the latest technology like a modern charging cable. Not sure if you can share that feedback with the team but that is certainly something to consider. It probably keeps the cost down for the manufacturer to ship an old cable but it’s 2024 and most tech companies are not shipping USB A cables anymore. Thanks for your great videos. I thoroughly enjoy them and I always learn so much!
Based on your excellent reviews - I have bought every X3 Bar product/equipment. I think this is where I draw the line for a while at least. The squat belt is great.
Appreciate that you like the videos my friend. I for sure understand the high price tag. I will definitely give it to them for being innovative and progressing the product line.
Just when we thought we had everything, X3 released a new feature: the bar in custom colors. In response to customer requests, we are pleased to bring you a limited release, Special Edition Elite Bar! Choose from Blue, Red, Black, Gold, or Rose Gold Anodized Finish!
I found it exciting and love that bands as a training tool, become geeky and can hit even more people to get started and move. the more platforms you can hit the muscles on destro the better. I'm not into all that geeky stuff, I love bands and only bands. but can easily see purpose
Man, I love your reviews, and I have changed my mind about getting a bar for bands. But their Xbar exclusivity type of business style? Yeah I am not loving that. It reminds me of Ferrari's business practice. The Harambe T bar V2 looks to be in my future.
I appreciate you watching and weighing the pros and cons. I will be checking out that t bar in the future, but I will give it to X3 for creating this whole product market and patenting the hook system on the bars.
X3 did not make the system of a platform and bar for resistance bands. This has been seen YEARS before X3, mostly with Tube style bands, but the idea is not something they did. Also the Band Beast Anchor was a thing even in the 90s. X3 did nothing but earn money on overpriced product and fooling people with unvalidated "knowledge" and programs. Please stop this fanboyism of X3, you can do better than that. @@hybridresistance or soon you'll start eating 20 kg of meat every day too, huh?.. skip it.
Stevie Richards did a great video that talks about this, in which he points out that you aren't even allowed to SEE the new bar unless you've already purchased the basic bar. But you can't buy the basic bar unless you also purchase the platform and bands (even if you don't need/want them). So... You MUST spend $549 before you are allowed to spend an additional $275 for the long bar OR $949 for the new smart bar.
As I said in the video, it would be nice if they allowed this to be your first X3. But according to them they want to give their pre-existing customers first dibs on new products. Which may be true considering this thing sold out on the first run.
The owner of the company needs to change this and not force people to spend an entry fee ( buying a x3 base package ) just to get the $999 x3 force bar. Here’s what the owner would probably do if he did change the buying system! He would probably charge $1500 for the X3 force bar .
I was considering getting this but after I saw how it works, I am not going to purchase this. Its important to know the reps and force production to measure progress but its not important to me. I feel not knowing the reps or the force puts me in a more focused state for each workout I do.
The x3 company gives First Responders/Military discounts but when I tried to purchase the x3 force bar their was no area on the page to get my discount. I contacted the x3 company and they said they don’t offer the discount for x3 force bar. I contacted the company and said if they offer a discount it should be for anything on their web site. Well, you clearly do not know what you are talking about. Resistance bands are superior to free weight, it's just that simple.. I personally love using free weights, bands, Trx, cable macines etc. I use all sorts of things. HOWEVER, X3 and "Dr. Joker" is a huge joke.. however, companies like Harambe System, makes amazing products at a good price and it should not be underestimated. Big downside and Not a customer friendly way that guy is selling the X3Force Bar. X3 is making people that want the X3 Force Bar Buy a basic X3 bar package which currently is $550 so that X3 Force bar that customers want to buy is going to cost upwards of $1600 because of the way the company is forcing customers to get the X3 Force Bar. No cool !!
Yes, as "PUSH" noted, you would need a hard surface to really anchor the platform. But I'd assume if you did that the bar (maybe not this one) is still useful.
Anyone that does closed system stuff; like not allowing you to sell the bar to someone else and be able to use its functionality. I'm 100 💯 not going to purchase. Family friend purchased the Tesla. Found one that had the supercharged function. Because he wasn't the original owner. No matter what he did, he was not allowed to use that functionality. So he paid $5,000 more for a bigger battery on a used vehicle that suddenly took four times as long to charge, 5 hours in total versus 45 minutes, just of the company could tell him to hit the bricks. Like I can understand wanting to keep closed systems so everything will work together well... And one in your own proprietary technology. Not just be duped for understandable reasons why some of these companies do this stuff. But a non-transferable lease. Definitely not a first adopter. It feels like an Apple fanboy sort of situation and while I like the X3 bar, it could have some cool uses: there are only specific buyers for this device. With those kind of limitations I would go look on the secondary market for something else that could be able to test force and I'd be willing to bet that in the near future, with a device like this on the market, there is going to be someone to build one at the $500 price point and open source. No shade on your channel but think about using that force meter on one of the Total gym. Being able to have real metrics on each push or pull. Genuinely being able to track anything from a resistance band to a force put into the floor is really the future of where all fitness is going. Having user ARX machine multiple times: in real time, having the right tension and ability to push past force boundaries the growth of muscles was so quick in a month I went up 75 lb on a deadlift. Similar to the x3 system... It just feels a lot like an apple product with that closed system stuff. That makes it hard to say yes to.
Thanks for watching and for the detailed comment. According to them the reason for the business practices has to do with controlling inventory and giving pre-existing customers first Debs on new products. I hear you brother. It’s not my main chest exercise and also use their long bar for chest. I will say I prefer the close grip for delts, I definitely feel that more than tris. Also, if your flexible enough it’s generally recommended to have hands closer to point of rotation in a shoulder press. That was a big thing I learned from the Starting Strength crowd / seminar. As with anything though it’s a tool, I’m not too dogmatic with it.
@@hybridresistance does the long bar do the same digital stuff? I'd just rather have the long bar for everything, you can hold a long bar to where you would use a short bar but you can't do that the other way around lol
