Good Day Chef 🇺🇦🧑🍳. The marinade was very similar to a steak marinade I've seen before. Many of the Greek restaurants in NYC serve a skirt or flank steak with a similar marinade except the main herb is probably oregano. I remember on payday getting the Steak and Eggs for breakfast and the steak you made reminded me of that. I usually poke a million holes in the meat with a fork before I marinade. I also like to let it soak for a few days. That looks like it would make a nice sandwich too. Paper thin and piled high. MMM MMM MMM. Have a Blessed and Beautiful Day 🇺🇸✝️🇺🇦📖✌️💞🙏🥀

I'll bet your hubby is just off camera with a fork and knife in hand 😂. I made some mini Lazy Pies with store bought biscuits. Some strawberry preserves and some savory with seasoned ricotta cheese. Cant wait to make this soon for me can i use tofu and skip worcestershire sauce i never had tri tip before perfect for my after office meals

The trimming of the tri-tip was new to me. Normally it looks more like a triangle.
I like to trim mine so I don't have one part over cooked and the other just reaching temp! Really makes a difference! I save the trimmed pieces for stew :)

I lived in California where tri tips are common. Here in the Midwest, they're rare, you can find them maybe once or twice a year.
Tri tip is everywhere here in California! That's unfortunate you don't have them in your area! Have you tried a mail order meat company?
I'm 61 and live on the East Coast. I have never heard of a Tri Tip, does it go by another cut of meat name.
It's very popular on the West coast. It is also called a California cut, a bottom sirloin butt, a Newport steak, a Santa Maria steak
