I really enjoy learning to fly new aircraft. (Which is also why I probably buy way too many of them) So I know I‘ll be having a lot of fun with this one
Imagine if they did a 172/152 and the benefits for student pilots to hover over parts and pitot static systems. I’ve used flight sims through all my flight training and it’s a huge benefit. You could potentially run into Cfi’ing virtually and get a good lesson in especially in covid times. Great stream btw!
Just got back from Montana skiing and was welcomed home by this awesome stream. This will give me something to learn while I recover from Covid. My gift for traveling!! Good stuff V1.
In case it wasn't mentioned in your stream.....it's so detailed, the galley door not only affects the audio environment, it ALSO affects temperature zones in the plane! Check out the environmental performance. You can set hot / cold zones, and watch the temperature separation / mixing when you open close the galley door.
A couple of questions if you’re flying Westerly, why are you entering an odd flight level second question on your bleed selection page it should be off for this particular aircraft you want to have the APU running on takeoff and then before reaching 15,000 feet transfer to the engines from the APU and shut off your APU.
Did you ever figure out the Datalink for FMS-Simbrief? Wasn't able to watch the whole thing. Also it would be awesome to touch on refueling, calculating and the formula for proper cg balance. Definitely need a tutorial on that.
you mean the one where you put the pilot id into the field, that was 0 for him? yeah he did, you have an id, it's a number - he put in his username. I don't use simbrief so I don't know how to get your ID, but it's probably somewhere in the settings or on some profile page
Admittedly, I about fell over when I saw the price. BUT once, you get into this project it makes everything else look like noobie night in general. I have not regretted the purchase and I've learned more in the last week, than the last year. The detail is truly next level.
It's if you're starting out and want to get everything right this is a good thing. But for me I am retired and don't need any more stress I just want to have fun. I like to keep it simple now. The less BS the better.
Okay so the nose wheel of the CL650 can caster up to 99 degrees but the NWS can only steer up to 55 degrees. So if you engage the steering with the nose wheel more than 50 degrees it's gonna INOP. Disengage steering, pull up a bit to straighten it out then reengage steering It's an issue with the fact that the nose wheel is chocked sideways at start
I would highly doubt that there isn't a version for MSFS. It would be too restrictive since x-plane users have dropped off the face of the earth compared to what they used to be.
Awesome systems, but I think this addon pretty much sums up XP11. While there are some stunning things that can be done to make things in X-Plane look good, when it comes to a system + visual fidelity, I think at least to me, the Fenix is gonna get the 1 up when it comes out. MSFS, once the addons start rolling out is the sim of the future. Before anyone comments on flight models and that kinda' thing, let's just wait for the Fenix to roll out. In the meantime, maybe we should just judge the potential based on the rotate law the A32NX has. Also, let's keep in mind, MSFS supports external flight models.
Nobody has ever tested a working Fenix - Looking at the MSFS Problems regarding the Limited SDK i have some doubts if the promisses can be hold - IMO there is no need to wait when you can have the C650 now … Thanks for this excellent stream
I believe this is on the level with the Fenix sim in terms of details, but even better because aside from modeling all of the real world operations a corporate pilot has to go through, it is actually released and can be enjoyed right now!
He seemed to know his stuff IMO , As far as ATS button on the middle finger on the throttle. The binding is CL650 \ pedestal \ throttle \ auto-throttle disconnect.
definitely seemed like he was rushing for the video time purposes. If you're going to post a video on a study level aircraft as detailed as this is, why rush and skip a bunch of things?
Wow, this sets a whole new standard for addons. Exciting time to be a flight simmer!
Absolute correct!
Hot Start and Aerobask. I could not be happier!
"Door Cam". Lol, you kill me. Unbelievable where this model has pushed the boundaries.
Lol thought it was a unique view 😂
The hot start tbm has similar break down of systems like the engine details. Also well worth the price.
Yup! I also love the TBM, did a “round the world tour” with a friend in shared airframe it’s awesome
I’m so excited to get your take on this amazing airplane! Love your channel and your insight on all things aviation
Well thank you! I’ll be sure to be flying it more as I throughly enjoy what it is to offee

There is a 172 called the AirFoilLabs 172NG. Highly reccomend it.

Get better Max! You’ll have plenty to study with this bird. Glad to have you back!

I was filling out my flight plan and I heard “side step” immediately zoomed out to take a look. Didn’t know it was you until I rewatched the stream.
Last minute adjustment lol
I absolutely love watching this video and I thank you for giving us such great content!
Bought the plane and finished one flight without dying! But it is now 0230 in the morning and I have to work soon ;)
Its a handfull! But very fun indeed
V speeds are set via the FMS. DCU warning panel is on right side arm rest.

Dam now I need to go without coffee and cookies for a few months to save up for this
Darn I missed the stream!!!!
Will catch up now, very curious to see what you think of this one with your corporate pilot background.
Loving the experience it provides!
Agree with your pay to play comment. As an example, look at how Flight Factor did the 767. Total cluster.
Yup exactly what I was getting at
mind blown, i want it
Nice CL650 presentation. Is it VATSIM flight ?
This makes me want to find a corporate job flying the challenger 650 so I can have the type rating knowledge done before I get my type rating.
I think the pricing is fair. It's been alot of developmetnt put in to it.
Agreed, the content within the purchase warrants its hefty price tag
Great video from a guy who has real Corporate Pilot Seat time. Thank you for sharing. Tried your Discord but the link is not working.
Does this model have a weather radar? does it display thunderstorms?
I'm ready to start my corporate job after watching this.

@@BaeBox yeah I was able to figure it out. It's in your simbrief settings, you just copy-paste it into your settings In the Challenger 650 menu.
Great video and thank you so much! Question, what did you hit to activate the N1 TO on the ATS? I'm stuck at that part.
Is the Type Rating included in the price? That that is crazy!
You could literally uses this as a type rating training tool

Okay, I'm beginning to understand why people were so hyped for this in chat the other day. O.O
Hey! What is your GPU?
Does the 650 come with a checklist (PDF form in files)? Would like to get one laminated, unless you know of where I can pick one up all ready to go?
There's a printable one in the documents folder in the install
So, you pilots that fly 3 or more legs a day run through that checklist every single time? Whooooo boy... 😂 I don't know how you guys do it
After I purchase and download this product, I just need to drop it in the community folder, correct?
In the "Aircraft" folder
It's if you're starting out and want to get everything right this is a good thing. But for me I am retired and don't need any more stress I just want to have fun. I like to keep it simple now. The less BS the better.
(Hot Start) That dev should start build it's ow flight simulator around his own aircraft! man really would see how that packs out
Anyone else getting a steering INOP failure? I have no idea how to fix it
Ideally I would like to use my rudder pedals for NWS
Okay so the nose wheel of the CL650 can caster up to 99 degrees but the NWS can only steer up to 55 degrees.

Disengage steering, pull up a bit to straighten it out then reengage steering

What Xeels said. Make sure your nose isn’t outside the limits prior to engaging NWS
takes longer to check than the bus
Lol yup
Type two, who uses type two these days?
Wish this was for MSFS
You could have both X Plane with CL650,and MSFS
I would highly doubt that there isn't a version for MSFS. It would be too restrictive since x-plane users have dropped off the face of the earth compared to what they used to be.
problem for this magnificient plane. We do not have enought doc to plenty study this software !

@@christopherbazaka1564 the last point is definitely true...
Microdaft sim, focusses on looks and will only appeal to kids more and more.
I usually enjoy your streams for your knowledge but tbf, this was too unprepared.
