Well shot and edited! Never do you disappoint in how the text looks. However, I didn't understand why they loved each other. Although I assume that Nandi is into Sechaba because she can talk to him no matter how she pleases (as she's an independent, stubborn character), and he's weak as the rand against a British pound. This woman has been nothing but rude to the guy. Secondly, the absence of polarization. What other job was Sechaba's job compared against? This made the plot of Sechaba's job argument weak. Thirdly, the wardrobe for Sechaba. Not all, but there's a sense of style (e.g. a cool hairstyle, hat or beanie, nice shirt) for creatives. The fourth point: the granny character confused the hell out of me. Was she supposed to be funny because she lacked a role (I couldn't figure out her archetype)? I thought forgetting her stop would build into something for the main characters, but nothing, her drinking of the shake would build into something for the main characters, but nothing, her asking for the jersey would build into something for the main characters but nothing. They only laughed about it for a second or two, like it was a transitional scene. The fifth point: it's been a year since Nandi met Sechaba's parents, meaning they have more than 12 months together, but the dude doesn't know a thing about her girl. Damn. Nandi's voice sounds a lot like Sindi Hirschowitz's voice. Started playing the video while I was not looking, I immediately thought it was my sister in this short film. I enjoyed it, its so refreshing, there is something retro and captivating about it.
