Another great hunting video Mike! That Dick Tracy Blu-Ray was a great find! I've been looking for that movie for a long time. The more I hunt, the more I share your point of view regarding patience and being willing to wait a little while to find movies you really want for cheaper. The pricing at some of these high-scale reselling stores is insane, and it's getting worse in my opinion. Anyone who pays full price for these boutique Blu-Rays on release day is cheating themselves out of a lot of money I think. Even thrift stores and pawn shops around here are pushing their luck, with one I know charging $3.99 for their DVDs and some Blu-Rays, and a lot of their Disney Blu-Rays for $5.99 or higher! It's getting more difficult to find a bargain, but that's why I always try to go to the same places at least a couple times a week. You never know what is getting donated and brought in, so persistence is important!
Wow. Those new stores and ALL THOSE CD's! I'd go bananas in those areas (17k and growing) as I am an all media gatherer. Those Z Rock discs are cool to see in the wild. They aren't worth a great gob but for an independent comedy show about a rock band by night and kids entertainers by day, it is written well, acted fine (loads of familiar guest stars), the music is great (by the now defunct band ZO2, RIP David Zablidowsky ) and for episodes you can get in get out and you'd have a lot of fun with it.
I've heard of it, and seen it 'round, but I don't have much interest in BBC television. It's just not my thing. I will take your sound word for it, James!
1:49 If you seen it.. ok.... But if that s "The Rover" with Guy Pierce and Robert Paterson.... Go back and get it. At least to watch. probably won't sell, as its an Ozzy Film.
Weird Science is fantastic! Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is still my favorite Hughes film, but Weird Science is a close second. Glad you got around to seeing it. It is relentlessly funny, and Anthony Michael Hall has never been better, in my humble. Thanks for watching, James!
I've heard nothing but great things. However, I need to watch the rest of Mobile Suit Gundam and Macross First. I want to discover the history of mecha-anime before jumping into the grand daddy of them all (from what I hear), Neon Genesis Evangelion. Glad you are enjoying it, buddy!
Yesterday night I saw pitch black the second part of the riddick trilogy It’s great tons of atmosphere and great set pieces it’s a cult classic So much better than that animated riddick film seriously I don’t know how Peter chung got involved with that mess
Don't mean to sound pedantic, but Pitch Black was the FIRST Riddick film; the one that kicked off the franchise! I love the entire Riddick trilogy for its fun factor and hero, but Pitch Black is more than just a Riddick film. It kicks ass, and has an excellent grasp on tension and claustrophobia. Thanks for watching, James! PS: I even like the animated film a bit!
ZULU is a great movie, great choice my friend…

The region 3 dvds are legitimate by the way. They look that elaborate
Thank you for the knowledge! I’ll consider picking them up in the future.
Say mike ever heard of a film called weird science
It’s a really funny movie and honestly my favorite John Hughes film
