- Many societal messages obscure the truth of our wholeness, our oneness, and our personal power. As we correct this distorted self-concept, we will experience more and more inner and world peace and healing. A new day is dawning and a growing number of teachers are sharing this message, bolstered by the sound scientific evidence that supports it.
Let’s go from “Pieces to Peace!”
Pieces to Peace © Gwen Pearl 2024
I was told I was broken
and at first I believed it
The TV and the magazines agreed
When that didn’t match the way I felt
I turned my eyes to myself
Imagine my surprise
when I would come to find
The mirror I was handed down
had been cracked for generations
and I always thought
it was an heirloom I should keep
But when I traded it in to look within
for the truth of my reflection
I went from pieces, Pieces to Peace
When I surrender
leaning deep into my wholeness
all the shards and splinters disappear
I can see with clarity
the love connecting you and me
beyond those jagged lines
that separate and blind
Cause the mirror we were handed down
has been cracked for generations
and we always thought
it was an heirloom we should keep
But if we traded it in to look within
for the truth of our reflection
we’d go from pieces, Pieces to Peace
Yes, ‘cause we are Love, Love
We are Whole and Complete
We are One, a Reflection of Divinity
Ah, but the mirror we were handed down
has been cracked for generations
and we always thought
it was some heirloom we should keep
Come on, let’s trade it in to look within
for the truth of our reflection, yes
And go from pieces, pieces
We’ll go from pieces, pieces
Let’s go from pieces, Pieces to Peace
We’ll go from pieces, Pieces to Peace
