Kelantan, The Most Misunderstood State in Malaysia. A place full of tradition, culture, friendly people, and delicious food. It’s such a lovely and peaceful place (except during Hari Raya because of the traffic jams 😂). Personally, I don’t want Kelantan to have skyscrapers, modern buildings, or a lot of modern infrastructure. I want Kelantan to preserve its traditions, as that’s what makes it so peaceful. Yes, the state government’s management has been poor, but I can't blame them entirely. We also have to remember that Kelantan's government has been sidelined by the federal government for decades, simply because they’ve never been on the same political side. That said, there are still improvements the state government could make, such as upgrading public transport, maintaining tourist spots, and improving cleanliness. Not only has the state been overlooked, but Kelantan’s people have often been criticized by other Malaysians, largely because of politics. It’s gotten to the point where I sometimes wish Kelantan would separate from Malaysia, just because of how badly they're treated. I hope more people can put politics aside and experience for themselves the true beauty of Kelantan. Takkan nak 24 jam berpolitik? xde life ke? haiyaaaa
Back then when Kelantan was under BN, there were alot of night clubs, bar, foreign expatriates love to go there. First its cheaper than city. Secondly theres alot of Siam girls. But Kelantan people made their choice, they want to be more Islamic way of living. So it become what it is today.
