    Easily one of my favorite Roosevelt stories. He knew what was right and didn’t waste time standing up for it.

      Agree, although a slight understatement. Super Mega Bad Ass Supreme is more applicable. Finished a speech after being shot (albeit somewhat superficially due to sheer luck) in the chest. Finished the speech! If I recall, they left the bullet in him, and he lived the rest of his life with it...I could be mistaken on that, but pretty sure that's what I remember of the story.
