Mr. Rowe would yo please write a book already? This home of ours our nation needs stories like this. Stories of hard headedness, stories of average Joe's making big deals of little things. Stories like yours that inspire the multitudes. We all need a swift kick in the ass to show us how America once did things. To show us where we came from.

The best candidate for Presudent is the man or woman who truley believes that they are not the best choice. Being humble is a quality of an amazing president. Someone who we can ALL follow.
I steam some butternut squash, potatoes to just less than firm, add artichoke bottoms, pan fried chicken chunks, with lots of tarragon to a pan, darken fry for a bit to add color to all, then add cream and some cheese. Enjoy.
First I thought it was Mr Roger's. Then I realized it was an earlier time than him and remembered my favorite tv show growing up. The Captain. Yes he was very influential. He was showing how to cut paper with scissors one day. I was 3. I found a pair of scissors and could find no paper, all I had to cut was my hair ; long golden curls. I cut it above my ear half way around my head. I apparently couldn't cut the other side. I never got the curls back until I turned 50, and my mother never let me forget what I did I swear she told everyone and their neighbor.
Oooh! As soon as you mentioned "Bob" & "children's show", I immediately thought of Captain Kangaroo! Oops, my age is showing!😋 BTW, I was one of the kids watching the shows, not the parent. 👱♀️

Are you guys kidding,? I'm sure Mr.Rowe is wonderful person and a great VO artist but president! I feel that one of the basic requirements is knowing the law backwards and forwards...like an attorney! Some political experience, have a huge knowledge of geopolitical issues,etc. MR.Rowe is a great writer and a great host but president of the USA. That's why the country is "jacked" up now we think celebrates can do everything just because their famous. PLEASE. NO OFFENSE Mr.Rowe.
I think you would probably be a good President, but I suspect that you are far too smart to run for it. As you know, you can't swim in a cesspool without getting it on you.
You say you wouldnt make a good president but theres a difference between knowing the path and walking it (like dude says in the matrix movie) Your actually JUST the kind of man we need! your realistic, your down to earth, youve experienced everything the working man/woman goes through and more! we NEED someone like that. You dont have to be complicated to be president, your team in the white house will help you with important decisions and you wont be alone! We're tired of the same old politicians being cycled through the white house!
Instead of sending "Mr Smith to Washington" I still say Eagle Scout Mike Rowe would actually be honest, hard working, not screw over a huge chunk of people, be able to find a way to balance between hard working Americans and those of us who are hard working but self employed.
