I was there. Excellent video. Speaking as a certified super fan, I think the band seems to be in great spirits. They have so much energy and express gratitude in a genuine way. John’s playing has really been interesting to me. He seems to be playing the songs more straight / closer to original recordings than he did in the past. I think he’s trying to avoid repeating some older variations and find new ways to make the performances interesting. He really seems to be enjoying solo sections and playing the new material most of all. Amazing show last night.

Same encore at the Denver show. I heard the first three notes of Under the Bridge and teared up immediately. It was everything I always knew it would be.

Flea Is absent from the video when he did the first bass note as he was at the side of the stage having a little kid playing that first note as he turned the volume of the bass up gradually 😊🎸
This song "just happened" to come on the radio from silence, then beginning to end right after I found out my divorce was final. It was a beautiful, sunny winter day with a bright blue sky and puffy white clouds. The snow was melting covering all of the grass, but clean making everything look clean and fresh. I sang this with the radio, keeping the tempo with my hand on the console of the car and I felt like i was flying.
Seriously?? Phone?? there's not a cell phone camera in the world that will produce a video as good as this one (a small point and shoot that only cost about $500). Although most cell phones the past few years do sound a lot better.
@@Bob-zj8br well, what you have is a camcorder, not a photograph camera that fits in a pocket like I described, which are permitted. You can use a camera like a Sony DSC-HX99. I can't recall which model Jim uses, but I think something like a Canon SX740 HS.

I have a sony ax 53 but cameras and camcorders aren't permitted in these venues. I'd love to know how you did it.
