it still is a giant magical fantasy world. But we, wow veterans, cannot see it like we did before because we experienced all there is to experience. NEw expansions add zones...but the experience is the same (maybe somewhat tainted..)

Joined in TBC but have: full T1, T2, and both AQ sets, with the Scepter of the Shifting Sands and the original Quel'Serrar in my bank. 41 exalted factions, 103 mounts, 98 pets, 35 titles including Hand of A'dal/Salty/Seeker/Loremaster, and 8645 total points.

Why are peeps fighting about what was the best time in WoW? I loved Vanilla, I loved TBC, I loved Wrath, I loved Cata and now I love MoP. Things have changed yes, but to what way, no one can say. Except that it went towards more casual friendly. Just remember that not everything was so great during certain time of WoW. Everything has two sides, WoW is not an exception.
