With the state tourism logos, I think a lot of them aren’t the whole logo, just the part that says the state’s name. For example, that Georgia logo actually says “Explore Georgia.”

no. we don't consider cheese more of a delicacy. It's just that you in the US consider our cheeses to be a delicacy.
(not saying there's not good cheese or whatever. But it'S a pretty common, everyday thing we eat)
Originally the U.S. only wanted New Orleans and passage down the Mississippi and offered 10 million for it. But Napoleon needed money for his wars so France countered for another 5 million they would throw in the whole Louisiana territory. However what France got were bonds. They cashed them in and only got about 8 million from the deal.
When I was learning French years ago there was a program on PBS called French in Action. It was really good because you didn't just learn words they also covered culture. For instance, a simple meal has three parts. In a a more "formal" meal one part is le fromage. Interestingly, in the U.S. the entree is the main part of the meal but in France it's the first part. English and French have swapped a lot of words but they usually mean something different in the new language.

With the state tourism logos, Arkansas looks like a tea company.
For the record regarding the tourism logos the Florida one isn't accurate or at least not very common, the one I've seen the most of here is with the O looking like a orange and the i looking like a palm tree, with some stylized font for the rest of the letters, not sure what the font is called exactly but its pretty similar to and somewhere in between the Pennsylvania and Louisiana fonts, with a series of lines underneath that look like waves.
In elementary school I used the exact same font that North Carolina uses for their tourism on like all of my google docs
