I sealed it as best I could with a small rubber band, did not have saran wrap so I used a small paper bag. Got out all the air. Folded the opening over. Clipped it. Left on counter for 3 days & perfect! Some oxidation but ripe! Thank you!
Seal the opened areas with softened butter, put together as best as possible, rubber-band in place, wrap in plastic wrap for 2-3 days outside of fridge… Thank you alllll you TH-camrs to help out in the situation, I really appreciate all the help!
Thanks I actually just came across an unripe avocado a couple of days ago, much to my dismay because I was really craving it and wasnt able to eat it. i put it in a tupperware but wasnt sure if it would eventually ripen, but now I know what to do and Im going right now to try that!

There's a better way - smear a small trace of soft butter on the cut and leave it out of the fridge to ripen. The butter seals the cut perfectly.

Leave outside the fridge… I saw it mentioned on another video.
Very useful......Thank you!
Thanks so much for this top tip
And after you cut it?
Do you put it in the fridge-a-dator or leave it at room temp-it-tyur?
Thank you for the video .... do you have a solution when you've chopped them up into pieces or do you have to put em all back ?
THANK YOU!!! 🥹🥑💛
Thanks man
Thank you. I wrapped it in Saran Wrap. It didn’t put the rubber band. I’ll do that now. Let you know how it works.
Why didn't you do the rubber band? Did it work without it anyway?
Still waiting for your feedback bro!!!
Still no feed back. disappointed
I want to know if it works after 3 years🥲
2024 and I just wrapped a sliced underripe avocado in clingfilm. No rubberband. Remind me to update you all!
What about wrapping it up in foil?
Why are you using a bread knife to cut an avocado?! 😂
Put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. Works a treat.
He didn't say whether to refridgerate it or not?
Yeah
You never told people whether to leave it out or refrigerate it. What gives?
Do you put it in the fridge or leave it on the counter?
Did you find out
You didn't say whether it goes on the counter or in the refrigerator I had to find another video
Counter, the fridge stops the ripening.
@@deniaridley thank you
This method doesn't help when you've already cut the avocado in 5 sections, I'm going to wrap with something, and see what happens
1000 iq
You're Cute
Do I need the seed in the middle to do this? I threw it out already
