From 4.55 onwards, should have kept your camera further to film the whole product and the base on the table... its quite frustrating i had to find another video that review it
Not sure of the max payload but it’s a mini tripod so not much. I was using it the other day with my new iPhone 14 Pro Mac and it tipped smacking my new phone on the ground and scaring the ish out of me. Luckily I had a case on the phone. It’s great for action cameras, and for smart phones. If you’re using your phone in the horizontal position it’s not good if you using your phone in the vertical position.

The reason why I asked is because its action cam mount counterpart, the Ulanzi MT-09, had recently incurred a small thin like crack and I only used a GoPro10 there encased in an Ulanzi G9-4 plastic cage with a GP Mic Adapter and Edutige ETM-001 micro mic. So I'm thinking of an alternative, like the MT-08 but that I will thread on a metal action cam mount on top. OR just consider buying a different brand such as the Sevenoak SK-T1 ( th-cam.com/video/xjhcoONiGyM/w-d-xo.html ).

Yes it's metal and it's still working great.
How do you keep the legs from popping or falling open?
They don't pop open they just stay closed when they are closed. I don't know why but they don't.

If you don't need the extension check out the Rode mini tripod I keep that one in my bag almost all of the time.
Actually just get the GoPro Max Grip + Tripod as I am thinking about I'm reminded that's one of my favorites.
