Im 24 years old and your words of advice at the end of the videos, helps me out a lot. I'm not car savvy by any means but I just started my first build on doing a Crown Vic frame swap on my 83' F100. I try not to over think things as well and thats what helps me get through chellenges in life. I have very little experiences on how to weld/fabricate/build engine ect. But I am trying to learn as I go and keep moving forward. I think if I never watched your channel and other car channels I would never feel confidant enough to build my own car and to have someone else do it for me. Where's the fun in that? So I decided to do it all myself and learn because why not? Thanks for all of the great videos on in-depth things because it helps me learn more. Keep up the good work dude.
I like the bibster build , I don't watch videos to pick them apart , I may look at something and think I might do it differently , but I like the flow of the chassis on the bibster , it's different , in the B is for build channel people want to put their 2 cents in on what he is doing , but he will still achieve what he's doing , I have built things , and have some Fab experience and find a little common sense can go a long way , and not just in building things . I can't wait to see the bibster when it's done , and in the meantime I will "go do work , son"

Fab tool tip for you when I saw how you using that measuring tape. Get a "Hultafors Talmeter", once you start using one for fab, carpentry or what ever you won't go back to a regular one ever again.

True- half the time you think its gonna be exactly like the video .... but sometimes when your doing it- you feel like you're forgetting a step ... If i feel that way i repeat the episode till i get it done -or play music -different gonra*- or sometimes you need a sammitch and or a 5minutes brake - or a different project for 20- 30minutes & go back to it ! All i know is once i fix something fully i start looking for other things to fix with that accomplishment of the first tasc!

I used to use that type of fastener in the automatic car wash industry to fasten panel to the machine. We called the quarter turn fasteners but ours were premade.
That is some really good advice at the end. As someone who tends to overthink things and rarely ever gets anything done, I am really enjoying your ability to just wing it and work it out as you go. It is such a contrast to the way I normally think. It almost feels like a mini drama... What will he do there? I am actually doing it for once myself on my CNC machine, I have the new X axis motor brackets designed and starting to fabricate them, yet I currently don't know how I am 100% going to attach them to the machine. I feel like I am living on the edge :0)
I couldn’t picture how you were gonna do that until you actually did it, great idea, I need to build my floors also, more than likely out of sheet metal rather than aluminum and I’ll weld it right to the square tube of the frame I built, if you read this and have any thoughts on that let me know. When you bead roll your floor pans / trans tunnel have you thought about putting the ford logo or mustang logo, because it could turn out really cool and add that extra pizazz.
About the "get things moving". I usually only plan out the purchasable core items before starting. Stuff that won't change like the engine, trans, axle, etc and I try to gather that stuff before I start because it makes mock up real easy. Then you break everything into pieces. There really is no way you could plan anything for your car without long hours of hands on. Every little thing on a custom is going to fight you. You just won't know if ABC pedal assembly is going to fit or if XYZ part will look right. 99% of people watching will not build a car to the extent. The best I could say is to just break things down into groups like engine mods, suspension mods, interior mods, etc. then do a little research if they will be compatible then pull the trigger on one of the groups to get things rolling.

I wanted to ask what tig machine are you using and are you using might wire for a filler if so what size? Also I've been in and out is why I have questions. Have you tried an everlast tig? Can you steer me in a good direction ? Thanks for sharing your time, thought s, skill and tools with us. It helps a great deal.
I am using the a Fronius MagicWave 230i in this video. And yeah I have a Everlast 325ext which was used for most of the welding on this build up to this point. The direction really depends on what your looking for in a machine and the budget you have.
Great work - you are true, old school craftsman. One question thou. That small bar you just installed under the driveshaft - Is that not going to make removing the driveshaft a real pain i the butt? Could you have not made that a bolt in tube?
Hey Kyle not trying to be a know-it-all but I would only go halfway down on those tubes I don't know if that's inch and a half an inch and 5/8 but if you go real low your panel won't fit in there right everytime I look at your car it looks great but I think I would put some bars on that roof to make it safe and rigid looks great showing the thickness of the tubing we'll make it look even better with the aluminum panels my opinion I would make those floors thick 1/16
