Thank you for putting up these Bloomberg videos, especially as they pertain to portfolio management and attribution analysis. I am getting my own terminal for the first time. Can you post more when you get a chance?
Thank you for your comment! Yes you can, make sure you have saved your portfolio first and then use the calendar arrows to go back in the past. Of course in the past your portfolio will be empty but you can populate those empty cells by clicking on Actions -> Import securities and selecting "Portfolio" as source. Note that when it asks for the date you should select a date for which you had populated the portfolio cells. Hope this helps!
Finville Thank you very much!because I do the report by using the portfolio function in Bloomberg but do not know how to analyze and what need to analyze,so your video really gives me a lot of helps!
Thank you for your comment! Students can access it for free at their university. Big libraries also have a subscription sometimes and make it available

Can we create a back date portfolio with multiple dates? I mean when we purchased securities at different times in past?

I don't have the "tickerization" tab like you have in the video, any thoughts as to why?
good question! No one sees the tab by default, you have to chat to help desk and they will enable you
