We are trying to kick on with 2022 wheat harvest but, today has different ideas with a grass fire breaking out just south of the town.

Well done , totally agree with the benefits of a chaser bin , adds I think 30% productivity to a harvester , cheapest header you will ever own !! ....machinery will only break-down if you dont use them ....lol ...always been the same !! ....you can minimize downtime !!

Most Farmers when they see smoke they run to fight it, many hands make light work. If a fire gets going it can be very destructive over a large area.

Excellent vid. Dumb question why is the chaser bin auger on the loading side.?

Makes it easier for the driver to watch, because all the controls in the tractor are on the right hand side of the seat, so that is the way the driver is sitting in the cab.

Do you know if your topcon has a base station? Because have seen some farmers have to have there own base station for GNSS RTK.

Not really in our area but we piggy back off jacka base station. That is privately owned by them and they have let the topcon users on it in our area.

What fert rates & pre-em chems did you use to achieve your 7T/ha mate? Good stuff 👍🏻

No where near enough fert mate. Only got 90kg of DAP, about the same of urea and 30lt of UAN. Got a double knock down before seeding and sakura. 3 fungicides during growing as I said. Paddock averaged 7.51t ha which is a personal record that won't be broken for a very, very long time.
