Hi. You can fit the Yale Doorman to a 40mm thick door yes. However you need to change the existing lockcase and strikeplate.

@@RukoDK hello. I have to push the door hard for the lock to actually auto close. i change the slutbleck to different ones from ASSA 1487-2, 3 and 4 and still same problem. if i close the door, the lock wont auto-lock until i push the door a bit more. any solution ? thanks
