I just got the Between 3ANC last week after my Momentum TW3 earbuds broke (hopefully, Sennheiser will replace them). But I ONLY care about sound and these 3ANC are simply AWESOME to listen to. You highlight the simple app and missing features, but honestly, how much time do any of us REALLY spend fiddling with the app for our earbuds? Probably not much time. I certainly don't spend much time with the Sennheiser app which is more sophisticated. While the 3ANC app is pretty simplistic, it gets me where I need to be and the rest of the time, I'm just sitting there with a big old smile on my face because they sound so FANTASTIC. I do agree the Between Pro equalized setting sounds best with most music. And I honestly worry that if I need to adjust a parametric equalizer to get good sound out of any headphone, I probably bought the wrong headphone. I sometimes listen to them with no equalization at all and still, they sound fantastic.
Yeah I said it myself that for some people (especially those who don't need all the extra features) these earbuds would be perfect. I'm so glad you like them though! Always makes me happy when people are enjoying tech as much as I do!
@@gary9816 Yes, they are. Not that there's anything wrong with the TW3, but the Between 3ANC gets the most in ear time, because they really are better.
Sad thing is to see AptX go… I have the Pro and whenever swapping between SBC and Aptx codecs the difference is pretty clear (and even more so if you're using the mic as well).
@@mnovaes It's not an issue for me as I'm an iPhone user and iPhone doesn't support AptX. AAC is just fine enough for me and I've done some blind listens between the two codecs and even with a classically trained ear, I couldn't honestly distinguish between them.
Love my 3 ANCs. Everything I need is there in terms of features. I don't like that custom EQ is not realtime. Not a deal breaker though. I got a sizeable discount on them too, so price and quality is good for me. I'm big on clarity of voice and treble with a good bass that doesn't drown those things out. 3 ANCs deliver that for me.

These are super legit and super comfortable. One of the best I have ever tried along w/ Liberty 3 Pro and 1More Evo. Was concerned about the size, but the comfort level makes the doorbell look a non-issue. Thx for sharing!!
Between 3ANC is the best I've heard so I purchased 3 pairs. I love the triple drivers.❤.. very clean and great sound. No need to buy very expensive earbuds.

It's not features you pay for in earbuds. It's SOUND. You can buy loads of earbuds with more features. But you can't buy many which sound this fantastic for the money.

@Rodghost1 they cost the same as airpods pro 2 and sound quality is slightly better, but not much, and noisee canceling is worse which js important also transparency mode gas a lot of white noise and doesnt have seemless connections like airpods or samsung buds or the settings which can persanlize our sound more and said its nad for games, while samsung has a gaming mode for their buds, so it is made for more people as well
Another nice review. I got these at early release and personally I really enjoy them. They’re my favorite wireless earbuds at the moment, followed by the Senheiser MTW3. I will definitely buy another pair if anything happens to the ones I have currently
Thank you! I'm glad you like them. For some of my music they are outstanding, but others really not good. I wonder if perhaps the clarity is so high with these that they're making my lower res files sound bad. Whereas other earbuds aren't able to highlight flaws in those tracks, so they sound good for all music but never 'outstanding'. That was a thought I had whilst testing these out. Still think the starting price was pretty high, but like I said: for some people these will be perfect!

I personally haven’t had any issues with the touch controls that you mentioned, although I certainly would like more customization options, but I personally can get the sound signature that I like which is my main focus on any earbuds. The ANC and ambient aren’t the best but they’re both effective for my personal. Wireless earbuds are very subjective for everyone and their likes
In part because of your review I went for these. I've had the Status Between ANC for a few days and absolutely loving them. Easily the best wireless earbuds I've ever had for audio quality, ever. What's really surprised me is how comfortable these are for me. The long battery life is a big plus. I'm not using these in situations where ANC and transparency are that important but they seem decent for those as well. And it's great having something that doesn't look like yet another apple earpod design or a button in your ear!

One huge surprise was the difference it makes with listening directly to stored music, audible titles, podcasts etc direct from my apple watch. I'd accepted that my LG v60 to earbuds (with aptx adaptive and LDAC), or using an iPhone would sound better than listening to music directly from my apple watch. The difference though with the Status Between ANC used with the apple watch is amazing. I found myself dancing to a piece of music that's on my watch (using Apple music which sounds much better than Spotify especially on my android devices). Then absorbed listening to the intricacy of some Saint Saens (classical) from my apple watch. And now a bit of Lana Del Rey. I'd half been thinking about a more basic fitness tracker when my apple watch 6 finally gives out (I use it alongside my android phone). But the ability to enjoy music , audio books, podcasts more deeply with these Status Between ANC has got me rethinking that (plus I use the voice commands a lot with the apple watch, especially at home and nfc payments when out and about and it's integrated into Microsoft To-do).

It varies wildly depending on which factor you're looking at. I make videos ranking earbuds by category for this very reason - there's a new one out at the end of this week you might find interesting. I think the first question to ask yourself is: why do you want something new? What do you not like about your AirPods Pro?
Very strange test... I have the Sennheiser MTW 3.. Nuratrue Pro and of course the Status Between 3 ANC. The Nura and Status have the best sound. Sennheiser MTW 3 are also great but don't come close to the two mentioned.

It's just below average i'd say. It's only 'bad' for the price these cost. Subtle improvement turning it on, but not great. No issues connecting quickly to an iPhone though
If they sound great…why change? You should only consider changing if you find something in particular wrong or that you don’t like about your current earbuds. If you identify that, then you can start to think about whether an upgrade would solve those problems 👍🏼
3ANC are a significantly better earbud overall. If you only care about the sound, then don't do it. But if you want a more rounded earbud then yes, the price is worth it over the Pros

Objectively speaking: yes. But sound is subjective and perhaps you would personally enjoy the tone of the older model (but there's an EQ option on the new ones to make it sound like that anyway). I think these beat audio technica for sound quality (just) and certainly overall with the other aspects factored in too
No. Codecs are typically a very small part of the sound quality experience, and they definitely pale in significance to the drivers and tuning of an earbud. I think these both beat audio technica for sound quality
I disagree with this review a lot. I had both the Bose qc2 and the AirPods 2 and I have to say, the status audio 3ANC’s are fantastic. I use the noise canceling at work and they work amazing. I have gotten between 11-13 hours of battery with them. The audio quality is amazing and I won’t buy anything else from here on out. Good review but not accurate for most features.

hey there so I got the lg tone free fp9 and there are good comfortable but not have great bass and volume not so high for more bass and loud sound and still comfortable which one do you recommend in these days ? mx4 Sony or others
Don't buy these! They do sound good, but they don't last and the controls suck! When I couldn't turn one of them on anymore, I started searching for answers and found that LOTS of people had this problem. I not sure, but I guess the batteries just die. Mine only lasted long enough for the warranty to expire and I have not had a reply to my request for help from them. Looking for a new pair so please tell me your recommendations.

I need some new earbuds as mine keep disconnecting all the time. I mainly need them just for listening to music and taking phone calls when I’m out and about and at work. I’m a bit of a Sony fan boy particularly the wf-1000xm range (and currently have the xm3). Would you recommend these as a good budget alternative or should I stick to what I know ?
These wouldn't be my first pick for a recommendation. I'd recommend Sony's WF-1000XM4 ahead of these, for instance - especially if you like that range already. It depends on your budget and what features you're looking for though!
I found the fine mesh made it difficult to clean with the Pros and I’ve now lost considerable amount of volume. Are these any different/easier to clean? Thanks
Earbuds DO NOT need active noise cancelling.these are stuffed with to many features but don't seem to be good at anything.just use foam eartips if you don't wanna hear anything...or use over ear headphones which are better anyway.
Amazing review ty! Trying to pull a trigger on them since so tired of Neobuds Pro breaking and Liberty 3 being too hissy. Do 3ANC and Pros sound alike with 3ANC set to the vanilla Pro tuning and ANC off? Does ANC change the signature by any bit (eg both Neobuds Pro and Space A40 add bass with ANC, but other than that no change).
Thank you! They sound quite similar but the Between Pro still have a warmer and more boomy type of bass. It's more controlled, natural and higher quality with the 3ANC. There's no noticeable sound change with the ANC mode switching

The low-end warmth is usually the main reason I return to the cheaper stuff like Neobuds Pro (which break monthly). Status Between were my last hope within that budget and since double-drivers performed so well, a triple setup is really promising.
I think im going to get these considering my last two pairs of samsung buds (Buds pro and Buds lite) both broke within like 6 months. Im currently stuck with some skullcandy indy buds, but they're mediocre at best when eq'd (The sound i like has way less bass, which makes the buds quieter and when i boost they start clipping and ruin a few tracks i listen to.) and battery life and features really suck. Probably not my best choice, but they're sill decent buds from a smaller company, which (usually) would mean they have more attention to quality over quantity, (samsung appears to struggle with this lol.) Hoping these ones last a little longer, since i'm growing tired of how my skullcandys are performing.
It's subjective - it depends on which type of tuning you prefer out of the two. I think objectively the 3ANC produce a more accurate, higher quality sound, but lots of people just prefer the warmer tone of the originals
I watched one of your videos comparing the status audio Between ANC3 earbuds and the Beats Pro. My question in your opinion which earbuds have the best over all sound? I like to hear all the parts - the highest highs and the lowest lowes, I love the base but I like to hear the treble as well. So what would you consider the best earbuds are for sound and then the best for under $300.
If you’re referring to the beats fit pro, then the status earbuds definitely have superior treble and overall sound quality. They’re not the best for sound quality overall though. I have a video called the “earbuds awards” I do every year ranking all the best earbuds you can buy

Sorry, apart from contacting their support team in the ways I’m sure you’ve tried, I don’t know what else to suggest. If you bought it directly from them then it’s their responsibility and you should be able to get through to someone through one of their contact links
Wasn’t wowed by them. Very bassy to me, overpowering and bleeding into the mids and lacked vocal presence, EQd to lower the bass and it responded fine but the midrange adjusting didn’t help whatsoever with the vocals feeling recessed. I couldn’t fine tune the sound to my liking. Preferred the Status Audiophile setting. Eartips were a pain to install on the nozzle. Transparency with too much noise floor and lacked vocal presence, EQd to lower the bass and it responded fine but the midrange adjusting didn’t help whatsoever, couldn’t fine tune the sound to my liking. I sent these back I didn’t really like them the Apple pod Pro Max actually sound better than these…. I didn’t find true wireless sound that they claim you can really only tell the difference with actual vinyl records, not MP3 or recorded sound on the iPhone or galaxy phone. All this music is just digital you’ll get better sound on vinyl record I’m pretty disappointed with these with all those big claims they make

I make videos ranking earbuds by category for this very reason - there's a new one out at the end of this week you might find interesting. I think the first question to ask yourself is: why do you want something new? What do you not like about your AirPods Pro?
Very strange test... I have the Sennheiser MTW 3.. Nuratrue Pro and of course the Status Between 3 ANC. The Nura and Status have the best sound. Sennheiser MTW 3 are also great but don't come close to the two mentioned.
Audio is subjective. Like I said in the video, I just personally enjoyed my listening experience more with some other earbuds

Yes that's right... But the reviews on TH-cam from El Jefe Reviews... Digital Slang.. DHRME and RonOnTech themselves say that the Status are currently the best in-ears on the market!! And these TH-camrs test enough headphones themselves..
The nuratrue pro.. those are similar to the Denon PerL Pro aren’t they?
My biggest issue is the ANC is just not very good and it’s definitely a feature I highlight when I’m searching for a pair of headphones.

How bad is the ANC? I want these for work and it can be a noisy environment. Also, any issues quickly connecting with iphone?
It's just below average i'd say. It's only 'bad' for the price these cost. Subtle improvement turning it on, but not great. No issues connecting quickly to an iPhone though
I just got my Between Pro buds and they sound great. I'm wondering if I should have paid the extra money for the Between ANC.
If they sound great…why change? You should only consider changing if you find something in particular wrong or that you don’t like about your current earbuds. If you identify that, then you can start to think about whether an upgrade would solve those problems 👍🏼
I don't get why they don't disconnect from Bluetooth after being put back in case. Charging doesn't always work either

3ANC are a significantly better earbud overall. If you only care about the sound, then don't do it. But if you want a more rounded earbud then yes, the price is worth it over the Pros

Objectively speaking: yes. But sound is subjective and perhaps you would personally enjoy the tone of the older model (but there's an EQ option on the new ones to make it sound like that anyway). I think these beat audio technica for sound quality (just) and certainly overall with the other aspects factored in too

No. Codecs are typically a very small part of the sound quality experience, and they definitely pale in significance to the drivers and tuning of an earbud. I think these both beat audio technica for sound quality

I disagree with this review a lot. I had both the Bose qc2 and the AirPods 2 and I have to say, the status audio 3ANC’s are fantastic. I use the noise canceling at work and they work amazing. I have gotten between 11-13 hours of battery with them. The audio quality is amazing and I won’t buy anything else from here on out. Good review but not accurate for most features.

hey there so I got the lg tone free fp9 and there are good comfortable but not have great bass and volume not so high for more bass and loud sound and still comfortable which one do you recommend in these days ? mx4 Sony or others

When I couldn't turn one of them on anymore, I started searching for answers and found that LOTS of people had this problem.
I not sure, but I guess the batteries just die.
Mine only lasted long enough for the warranty to expire and I have not had a reply to my request for help from them.

I need some new earbuds as mine keep disconnecting all the time. I mainly need them just for listening to music and taking phone calls when I’m out and about and at work.
I’m a bit of a Sony fan boy particularly the wf-1000xm range (and currently have the xm3). Would you recommend these as a good budget alternative or should I stick to what I know ?
These wouldn't be my first pick for a recommendation. I'd recommend Sony's WF-1000XM4 ahead of these, for instance - especially if you like that range already. It depends on your budget and what features you're looking for though!

Earbuds DO NOT need active noise cancelling.these are stuffed with to many features but don't seem to be good at anything.just use foam eartips if you don't wanna hear anything...or use over ear headphones which are better anyway.
Amazing review ty! Trying to pull a trigger on them since so tired of Neobuds Pro breaking and Liberty 3 being too hissy. Do 3ANC and Pros sound alike with 3ANC set to the vanilla Pro tuning and ANC off? Does ANC change the signature by any bit (eg both Neobuds Pro and Space A40 add bass with ANC, but other than that no change).
Thank you! They sound quite similar but the Between Pro still have a warmer and more boomy type of bass. It's more controlled, natural and higher quality with the 3ANC. There's no noticeable sound change with the ANC mode switching

The low-end warmth is usually the main reason I return to the cheaper stuff like Neobuds Pro (which break monthly). Status Between were my last hope within that budget and since double-drivers performed so well, a triple setup is really promising.
I think im going to get these considering my last two pairs of samsung buds (Buds pro and Buds lite) both broke within like 6 months. Im currently stuck with some skullcandy indy buds, but they're mediocre at best when eq'd (The sound i like has way less bass, which makes the buds quieter and when i boost they start clipping and ruin a few tracks i listen to.) and battery life and features really suck. Probably not my best choice, but they're sill decent buds from a smaller company, which (usually) would mean they have more attention to quality over quantity, (samsung appears to struggle with this lol.) Hoping these ones last a little longer, since i'm growing tired of how my skullcandys are performing.
Skullcandy sound like toys compared to these! The status originals are on sale for 79 bucks right now for Black Friday

It's subjective - it depends on which type of tuning you prefer out of the two. I think objectively the 3ANC produce a more accurate, higher quality sound, but lots of people just prefer the warmer tone of the originals

I watched one of your videos comparing the status audio Between ANC3 earbuds and the Beats Pro. My question in your opinion which earbuds have the best over all sound? I like to hear all the parts - the highest highs and the lowest lowes, I love the base but I like to hear the treble as well. So what would you consider the best earbuds are for sound and then the best for under $300.
If you’re referring to the beats fit pro, then the status earbuds definitely have superior treble and overall sound quality. They’re not the best for sound quality overall though. I have a video called the “earbuds awards” I do every year ranking all the best earbuds you can buy

i know this video is a bit old but please i’m begging for any help. i ordered these november 25th and it’s now January 6 and not only haven’t i received the product but i did not receive a tracking number nor any status on shipment. this wait is likely worsened by the fact that i live in australia. the money has left my account but i now fear ive lost it. i’ve sent contact messages through their page and have gotten no response. does anyone have any idea for how i could contact a Status employee or any way to help my situation? thank you
Sorry, apart from contacting their support team in the ways I’m sure you’ve tried, I don’t know what else to suggest. If you bought it directly from them then it’s their responsibility and you should be able to get through to someone through one of their contact links
Wasn’t wowed by them. Very bassy to me, overpowering and bleeding into the mids and lacked vocal presence, EQd to lower the bass and it responded fine but the midrange adjusting didn’t help whatsoever with the vocals feeling recessed. I couldn’t fine tune the sound to my liking. Preferred the Status Audiophile setting. Eartips were a pain to install on the nozzle. This review failed big time. I got the new air pods pro’s and these to test and returned the AirPods. 3anc is so much better.

I sent these back I didn’t really like them the Apple pod Pro Max actually sound better than these…. I didn’t find true wireless sound that they claim you can really only tell the difference with actual vinyl records, not MP3 or recorded sound on the iPhone or galaxy phone. All this music is just digital you’ll get better sound on vinyl record I’m pretty disappointed with these with all those big claims they make

@@insidetechltd yeah I didn't think they were anything special. To be honest, My Apple product sounded a lot better. I even have Google Pixel pro buds that sound better. They fit more securely in the ear. My seven pro earbuds work really good that eight are even better

As I said before, it sounds like you want a bass heavy pair of earbuds so I would recommend JBL Live Pro 2
