Every time I think I found my favorite video you do something else amazing lol pretty much all my loom knitting skills came from your videos 😊 pretty sure I'm your biggest fan lol
Love this project, cute to decorate packages. Also cute small gift for teachers, co-workers! Liked the festive music at the beginning! Thank you Denise👍❤️
Ok....so my tree ended up looking like that talking wizard hat on Harry Potter. Im gonna keep practicing...but for me the hardest part is securing the base (trunk) to the base of the tree. Denise makes it all look so easy!
Protip! Watch the video through once at 2x speed to get an idea of what you'll need to do for the project. Then, watch it again at normal speed and follow along.
@@LoomaHat No problem! You actually started me on my love of loom knitting with your slipper pattern over a year ago and am actually pretty good at it....never thought i would be lol.
I don’t know how, but the first tree I made, I ended up with 4 loops just like yours! BUT, after that one, I’m ending up with just 3 loops! You mention that it’s ok, but I can’t figure out where I’m messing up! Also, can this be done in a 31 peg loom? I would like to make a bigger tree. And would I follow the same instructions as for the tiny one? TIA for all your help and wonderful patterns!
Hi - if you're getting less loops - you're not knitting enough rows or you're skipping some of the purl rows. You may need to write down the pattern to make sure it knit every row or you can get the written pattern here loomahat.store/collections/holidays . As far as making it bigger, you can use a larger loom but you would need to adjust the pattern. It's not going to work well with the same exact stitch and row count I used for the small loom. Both need to be increased and without testing the larger pattern, I wouldn't be able to give you the stitch or row count for a 31 peg loom. Hope that makes sense
Thank you so much for making this video just wondering could you make this tree on a large hat loom to make a large Christmas tree decrease by one on every Row or how would you recommend doing that? Have a wonderful blessed day
Could this be done on a bigger loom using the same steps or would i have to double the steps? I have an uncle who usually does not put up a christmas tree and i would like to make him one...would a 36 peg loom be a good size?
I made a larger one using a 30 peg loom. It stands about 10 inches tall. I followed the same 24 peg pattern for the trunk, but used a bulky weight yarn. For the tree, I had to play with when to decrease. The repeat is 4 rows of purl followed by 3 rows of knit decreasing every row. I settled on NOT decreasing the first purl row of each repeat and adding an extra repeat set. That left me with 6 pegs in play before the final 3 purl rows and then the cast off.
Hi again sorry for bugging you again but you are possibly tye only person who can help me figur out this stitch. I recently found something called a crocodile stitch and i think it's gorgeous but the few videos i found on it aren't really good. So when ever you have the time if you could make a tutorial that would be great. Again sorry for bugging you.
@@LoomaHat I'm not worried about the stuffing part i just wanted to make a little tunnel like structured that would keep my hands warm while waiting for to bus. And the hand muff was the only thing i could think of. I can make up for the lack of stuffing with a thicker warmer yarn, but i have no idea how to go about it. Hence why i asked you, you always make such amazing stuff so i figured if anyone could do it, it would be you.
I wouldn't worry too much about the extra peg - it shouldn't have any effect on the pattern. If you find that it's turning out lop-sided (I made one like that on purpose because it reminds me of Dr Seuse) it have two ways of fixing that ... make sure to stuff your project well and you can insert a craft pipe cleaner like this amzn.to/3VYcIkL
Hi Tabitha - when I started I only had 10 mins worth of instructions from a craft rep so when I got home I guess my ADD brain captured it in that direction and back then there was not a lot of loom knitting video. Now, I do it out of habit. For someone with an attention disorder, habit is EXTREMELY vital to be able to create... And most of my projects can be done in the both direction. Hope that makes sense.
Very cute! Will add a nice touch of Christmas to small spaces.
So cute! Always great videos. I'm so thankful for your channel!
Thank you so sooooOOOOOO sOOOOOOOO much! 🙂💛💛
super cute I must try I have a ton of projects started lol

Please do some more Christmas loom bits as love your designs there are lovely 🎄👍🏼
These are super cute, and so easy to make! I'm going to make these for my family, and do the decorating altogether. 😁
These little trees are so cute. Thank you for sharing another great project 💕.
I wonder if I could use that kind if base for a candy corn plush....
Thanks for the video and the wonderful instructions!
Absolutely! And what a GREAT idea !!!
Love this project, cute to decorate packages. Also cute small gift for teachers, co-workers! Liked the festive music at the beginning! Thank you Denise👍❤️
Just completed one of these for my work desk. I've used beads as ornaments, and 'eye-lash' yarn as tinsel. Really pleased with how it's turned out.
Love your idea of using eye-lash yarn for tinsel! I may have to “steal” that one!
Beautiful! Thank you for doing these videos, so easy to follow along with clear directions! X
You are so welcome!💛
Too cute. I plan to make quite a few to hang on my tree at work. Will tell everyone it is your pattern! Thanks as always!
So cute. Have to make some for the family.
You have the best videos. They are easy to understand and you have adorable patterns.❤
Thank YOU !

Exactly how mine looks lol
As always, love, love, love.......It will go perfectly with the snowman I made using your teddy bear pattern......thank you
This is perfect for my kitchen and window decorations
Instructions were great and easy to follow. I’m going right now to find some green yarn. 😊
Thank you very much for your kind words!

Wondering if I can do this with a bigger pegged loom
No way! I'm super excited to try this. So adorable!
Can't wait to try this. So cute!
I love the tree, thanks 😊
I love your ideas so much!! The projects are easy although I am only in 5th grade. Are you going to do Halloween projects as well?
Liked and shared! Thanks Denise 🎄

Thank YOU Sherry - VERY much !!!!

gracias por la explicacion y saludos....
Do you have a pattern for a witches hat or an elf hat 💝
Cute! It looks like the pattern could also be modified a bit to make a cupcake :)
Good idea
These are really cute and just gave me another thing to make for Christmas 😁. Would this be small and light enough to hang on a Christmas tree?
Yes - keep the stuff light and make sure you decrease enough rows - the less you decrease the larger the tree.
LoomaHat.com cool. Thank you. 👍🏽
How FUN! TY 🌲😃🌲
Thank YOU!!
I love these, I can't wait to try one of my own
What gauge loom did you use? (Also, I LOVE how cute this project is!)
Hi JOanna - I used a 5/8 large gauge
Looks good! Can you do that with grilled chicken instead of fried chicken
🥸
Can you use a normal plastic 24 loom? xx
Yes 👍🏽

What part did you to the tip?
Do you have to use draw-string cast on? It looks so difficult!
Could you flip this inside out and sew then flip is around the other way? I am getting read to make a few for my coworkers.
love it
What gauge loom is this ? And what name loom

Which CinDWood loom did you use?
24 peg half gauge like the knifty knitter loom
But it’s nice

The top part of the tree can make a unicorn horn😎🦄
Help I don't get it I want yo make this
Where'd u get the looming needle from?
You can get them at any big chain like Walmart and Hobby Lobby, or on line

Ok this is going to sound strange but can you do one on a hand muff?
Like decorative? It might if you skip the stuffing and make it flat.

I've made this twice and I end up with 1 peg at the end. What am I doing wrong?! It's a little lop-sided tree!
