Sunderland fan - I enjoyed your vid and it was interesting to hear Norwich are using a similar 'model' approach. 16th last season was due to deciding to replace TM without any succession planning. Our team was definitely better than that. Replacing manager mid season isn't a good time. Mick Beale definitely had a burner account. I thought he might have been OK, but I was wrong. Major off field fiasco with Black Cats Bar for FA cup game against Newcastle didn't help. Good luck with your model approach. It definitely works Previously, we had to pay crap players to get them off the books and now we're turning down bids. Owners have also taken a holistic view by investing heavily in Academy and streamlining first team pathway. Fortunately, the ginger hype merchant abandoned us in summer for more money and we appointed RLB who has been ideal for us. While younger players are valued higher than older players because of their potential to improve, owners finally recognised that experience of older players can help team + accelerate their development and adjusted model for this.. I think we can improve over the rest of the season and owners will strengthen in January as there's a good chance for promotion this season, so I'm hoping we get into automatics. Good luck for rest of season, just not tomorrow. Cheers. Jim
Regarding Gunn , would he be that much of a loss this weekend? Considering his recent form no better then long on recent games. Which might be the defence Infront of them or both are equally poor at present. I think it's a mixture of the two . Personally I have no problems with long in goal on Angus recent form .
I agree with that Angus Gunn was at fault 2 of the goals against QPR,I've seen Angus have brilliant games for us as well but we just have to get on with it whatever happens if he gets a ban,it seems the fa have got it in for us at the minute, McLean has been very unlucky, but we do need strengthening in the January transfer market ,at this rate we are looking like a mid to bottom 10 team, that's not where we want to be,I don't like losing and it do spoil my weekend,I played to win and give 100 percent, just want my team to get back to winning ways 💛💚🙏🔰🇬🇫👍

Don't hear of many other teams getting this retrospective treatment. Will be interesting to see if there are any others being looked at ??😢😢
Bring in goerge long 😊⚽️
Away games are never easy 😊⚽️

Long is much worse than gunn despite recent form by Angus
Not just recent form - remember the first half of the play off semi at Elland Road? We need someone better than both Gunn and Long.

We may potentially be without 3 of our most important players in McLean, Gunn and Sargent two of which due to retrospective refereeing
Also - what is the home grown quota?
Bring back Brandon Williams on the free!!!!!
Your 2nd keeper will play a blinder, always happens against us.
